I'm not new, but I don't use very much all is available. I looked for example if I could follow friends comments but didn't find how. Finaly, I made the list about "toxic female lead". Here: https://mydramalist.com/list/4q6qqVG1 I don't do another one for female villains for now. I wonder if there is already a list about "best vilain". I tried to find more vote lists, but the list provided don't show all is on this website, and I don't know how to search for lists.
Thanks, it could help me to find dramas with this kind of character I like. ;-) I'm preparing another list, about bad female lead, or toxic. I don't know what word to choose. I don't like the word "toxic", but it's maybe the best, otherwise, people will post badass FL, and it's not the subject. And if I choose the word "worst", people will choose a flat FL or overacting one. It won't help me to find good dramas. I will check to share your link too. It's first time I hear about that. I didn't know we could do that on this website.
idk why love alarm was not in here cause sunoh was pretty toxic, he basically forced himself on jojo, was obsessive…
It need a list for ladies too, because in this drama, the most annoying person was the FL. She's such a walking disaster for boys. :-) But it's difficult to make only one list, because there is 3 situations : - Jerk ladies. (FL, example, My fair lady). - Bitches. (often SFL in a love triangle). - Villains. (like Lady Mishill).
Dosan was so cute and nice tho I liked him much more than Jipyeong
After being so annoying, JP get his redemption in the last episodes. Maybe he will mary In Jay, Dal Mi sister ? Last scene of the drama made me think that.
Your mind is like TKEM it seems. TKEM psychic disorder. :-DDDThanks to the many comments on BitchesOverDrama blog,…
I was thinking more of the word "disorder" as a lack of order in thoughts, than as a disease ;-) The list of scenes with extras is endless. The cocktail party, the panic in the streets of Seoul during the war, the Sigma pool in the future, the clique of politicians affiliated with Sigma, the band of punks, the people in the sauna, etc etc.
Thank you for writing this article. It was an enjoyable read and the pictures were fun. I am glad to see someone…
Thanks too. We are seeing several other dramas that have a blockbuster movie quality recently. There are not many of them. The drama L.U.C.A. is particularly impressive. The repetitive action during the episodes 3 to 7 has unfortunately this effect of losing the sense of value. A bit like the US series of the same kind. It's not the violent content itself that bothers me, but its trivialization.
Like you, I find in Sisyphus a drama that makes me dream, by its many incredible sets. Indeed, it is better to laugh at its imperfections than to take it too seriously.
was surprised to see that you wrote this article! Well done.I also miss the emotion of old dramas, this is why…
Hello! You know I'm fan of SF-Mystery drama too. ;-) I recently rewatched 3 first episodes of Stairway to Heaven. Damn, it was better than what I had in memory. So cruel. And the background music!
Great job! You've put down in words, what was only floating incoherently in my mind. Sisyphus was truly a daring…
Your mind is like TKEM it seems. TKEM psychic disorder. :-DDD Thanks to the many comments on BitchesOverDrama blog, it was possible to synthesize some aspects. Without this preliminary work, it was impossible to write this article. Thanks to you for your help too. You certainly noticed that the line about the number of extras came from one of your comments. ;-)
This is a well thought out & written article! Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort into this.…
Hi, thanks for your very long comment.
For a few years now, we have been seeing the evolution of science fiction dramas. It's a genre that has difficulty to take off in Korea, it seems. Even in Korean cinema recently, there are attempts.
TKEM and Sisyphus have several things in common. TKEM had quite low ratings for a public channel drama. Sisyphus did not have high rating, but it is normal for a cable channel like jTBC. Both dramas are very successful on streaming platforms. Sisyphus was first on Netflix in Korea. As well as in the Top10 of most Asian countries.
The writer of TKEM tried to produce a very complex storyline, but the narrative lacked the clarity of Sisyphus. This story was more fantasy oriented. It is still a drama worth mentioning, because the famous scriptwriter took risks and dared to present a difficult content to understand, rather than relying on her usual reflexes, like her previous dramas.
Wow! Really great article! I wouldn’t even think to view Sisyphus this way, so I enjoyed learning about it being…
Penthouse Director : Scene 1 - Please Kim So Yeon, make exorbitant eyes. Scene 2 - No, now you must be more angry, make eyes even more exhorbitant. Scene 3 - AH! more, more, more! Even more exhorbited, much more !!! Scene 4 - Exorb those eyes, again, again, to the maximum! Scene 5 - Exorb your eyes beyond the maximum, push madam, push! > PLOP! PLOP! < - Ahh shit, I got an eye in my eye!!!!

Hi, thanks! Be careful, I'm not saying that it's the truth, but just that I bring some concrete elements about it, among what struck me immediately in the drama, compared to others. The spectacular side and the action in particular.
We have already crossed paths on the comment thread of The Penthouse I am sure. I had posted a joke about it (I'll copy and paste it below in a spoiler). The reason I include this is in the article: the way I watch the drama is the opposite of Sisyphus. The Penthouse mini-meme here takes into account two factors: - The dialogue is a parody of the series 24. A line Jack Bauer says tons of times when he arrests someone is: "Put your weapon down" or "Put your gun down". Cheon Seo Jin's eyes are considered as a dangerous weapon. ;-) - Park Shin Hye has huge eyes!!! She uses them well to cry and is very expressive.
I think that the scenario of The Penthouse is as elaborated as Sisyphus. More elaborate than most dramas, as far as structure and preparation work is concerned, nothing is left to chance. More difficult to produce than anything else because of the high number of plot twists and the density of the content.
Je ne suis pas inscrit sur twitter, impossible de suivre quoi que ce soit là-bas.
Or is there a flaw in words order ? I'm not english.
Finaly, I made the list about "toxic female lead". Here:
