Can someone pls tell me if its worth to watch ??? Im a fan of.park shin hye since the heirs so i just wanna know…
It's worth, absolutely. The script is outstanding. There is also never seen stuff, big budget feeling. Even Gunfu fights!! PSH acting is good, and very good during crying scenes. There is almost only 2 bad sequences during the whole drama. (episode 3, two stunts badly made). That's all!

Why do I have the feeling the writers had the malicious intention to destroy our brains? :-) :-) :-)
They went for a challenge close to the impossible for the viewers. It is even more complicated than TKEM. But at least we can follow the action without additional confusion. So we have all the marbles in hand...

Production team really worked hard tho, so props to them. Writing was as far from deep as you get. They were trying…
Your comment tried too hard to be clever but really wasn't.

Enjoyable so long as you don’t even attempt to engage your brain.
Much more enjoyable if you engage it. ;-)

Title Sisyphus: The Myth Spoiler
i don't understand the ending tho. did the Seo Hae that Tae Sul see on the plane is real or a fragments of his…
There are plenty of logical reasons for her to be real, but on the other hand, Tae Sul's attitude is so depressing that I doubt it... T_T

https://www.jazminemedia.com/2021/04/sisyphus-the-myth-episode-16-recap/ - the ending explained here, I get it…
It's not convincing enough.
I don't see why Tae Sul would have memories when the timeline has reset.
Also, if the notebook was in the jacket, it would have been erased by the reset.

Title Sisyphus: The Myth Spoiler
Based on the revelations in Episode 15:1. There is only one timeline.1.1: Everytime the story repeats, they are…
If the future Sigma behavior rely on these merge effect, it explain why, in the last scene, Sigma is not so hatfull as before. Because the Sigma from the time loop Died. It make more sens. I posted another comment about the ending on this thread with my supposition it's a happy ending. Here it go in this sens. Sigma was supposed to be always bad, because of this loop recursion where he's always alive (two sigma alive) or a way of sigma painter to get memorys from his future self (bad guy). If he don't get that + he isn't in a timeloop where Tae Sul (and Seo Hae) tried to murder him, he shouldn't become bad. Still, that make another question : how and why he doesn't suicide himself the time he should ? I cant answer now, just another clue there is probably a new timeloop at the ending.

The writers made one of the hardest thing to write. I can't expose all that now, it's too long. But doing this on a 16 episodes (18h of content) is crazy difficult. As I writed a 22h drama with very complex storyline, and also plot links (impact of what happen first episodes with the ending ones), hyperlink type script. But still far more linear as it's not a time travel story. And even, you reach a point, after months of outlining and preparation, when you know you can't go further with the way you dispatch events in the story timeline. At this point the drama is too vague and abstract to be mastered anymore. So it's better to write with a more natural style and do it well, than look for additional and maybe useless difficulty.

But in Sisyphus, it's perfectly justified to expose the events in this non linear way. I never writed a time travel story (or shorts ones). I can just imagine I would like to write a mind-blowing one. But it need a concept and now, Sisyphus took so much about this concept. If you wan't to have new ideas for time-travel it won't be easy now. My previous favorite story was movie Primers.

Now Sisyphus is over, I will watch all the dramas I missed about time travel : Times, Alice and Someday. But for sure, I won't write a timetravel story, as I don't have time and too much work for corrections of my current story.

It was actually an open ending. ;)A new time bubble was created when Seo Hae traveled back into the past to meet…
So good ending, anyone can put something in this, see different way.
And as spectator, we get the emotions of all the differents way together.
It's like the "final merge" of emotions, like the merging effect in the story.
It hit so hard about feelings we get from this. Very moving.

Title Sisyphus: The Myth Spoiler
It is the solution since Episode 1 ;) But the thing is, it is not as simple as that. If you are not going for…
I had goosebumps and a chill down my spine, when the inside of the plane flips to white and the end call sign "sisyphus" appears with that sizzling sound. The kind of intense, deep, slightly bitter emotion that only sad endings can do.

I think I just figured out the ending, it's even more moving.
And that explains the final scene with Sigma.
Sigma has healed to some extent, he doesn't want to destroy the world anymore. And he has all these notes with him (assuming the existence of a new timeloop where these notes come from). Tae San probably has the plans with him (the ones that were supposed to be in the safe). One possibility, the uploader will be built, but this time, not for a loop leading to disaster.

And the Seo Hae of this future is sent to the past, which explains the plane scene in another way. Seo Hae is really there with Tae Sul. That's why he can lean over and rest his head on her shoulder. Also, Tae Sul throws his pills on the ground. Not because he prefers to live with the illusion of having Seo Hae by his side (one supposes that he uses these pills to cancel his hallucination, as he did with his brother in the previous timeloop). He throws away the pills because Seo Hae is finally there with him, in real life, and not as a hallucination.
All this may be a happy ending, but with the emotion of a sad ending, well both at the same time.

Additional information about the "New timeloop" ending.
The end scene with Sigma must have a purpose and this is it.
Sigma has healed in part. And at the end, he puts on the glasses to look like Tae Sul. Which suggests that he will develop the uploader.

As for the first episode, someone from the future appears in the past during the plane scene. In the past, Tae San's brother, in disastrous conditions. And here, Seo Hae. All this seems to me logical concerning the narrative links and the usefulness of the scenes. With, of course, the surprise effect. The plane scene is told before the Sigma scene. Already because the emotional link is stronger with the previous scene. This is incomprehensible at the time. The scene of Sigma arrives then to provide the explanation of what could have happened.

Since there is a new, completely unknown timeloop (we see nothing of it), it is difficult to tell the mental state of Tae Sul at this moment, and why he seems to already know Seo Hae before she appears. A previous merge effect, or a previous appearance of Seo Hae is possible, or a previous appearance in timeghost. Why does Seo Hae play the game? Since there was a new timeloop, she also got information somehow, making her return for Tae Sul. She comes from a future that was not devastated by war, and she comes back for him only this time, not to prevent a war.
Put quickly: she comes back for love, not war.

Uhmm just came to say that time travel dramas are very risky to produce so expect plot holes. It's almost impossible…
I could just put a heart like on your comment, but feel the need to say I agree. ;-)

I missed the information, sorry, I watched the episodes only once.
Until now, my supposition was the sigma we see in the futur is the one who have comeback in time 2001, go 2020, then survived the war (again!), then became the boss.
If first time travel of Sigma is 2035, it means there is another Sigma (more older, the one coming from the previous timetravel.). Or this Sigma is supposed to die ? For a time, my theory was Sigma merged with himself. We saw this phenomena with an object in the drama, but not with a living being.

FAQ:Q1: Was Han Tae Sul hallucinating like how he was hallucinating his brother talking to him?Q2: If Han Tae…
Your 2 big comments need a stick. You should copy them in a "discussion" topic, so we keep track of it, it deserve it.
For now I see this as a happy ending (my last thought about new timeloop).
There is room for season 2, but I feel the conclusion is perfect. Just a special episode maybe, with more information, but that's all.

There is a mystery in the last episodes. I need to rewatch to be sure, but there is a paradox :
At the weeding, Tae Sul and Seo Hae are saved. Sigma is killed. But killed by them. After they are saved, the go to the uploader, and come back to save themselves. You see what I mean ? How weird, but it's not the only paradox in the drama.
Here it is different of the scene when Tae Sul write on the wall and the bodyguard comeback.
It's really self sustained.

Just read your comment !
Nobody can say logic have to be put off in this show after that.

For your date, it's 2001 not 2010, when first time traveler come back.
Not sure Sigma and advance team come from 2035. Sigma would be too old.
I think they come from earlier, far earlier.
Look : Sigma is 40 (or something like that). Then live to 2035, make 55.
Come back in 2001, then live to the events of the show 2020, so make 75. Too much.
