Oh, you're right! I was distracted by the first images and I let it slip away. It actually makes a lot more sense than dramas that use this process only for comic effect. Thank you very much!
Obviously, FL has a traumatic past, which certainly explains her attitude. This is seen in the scene of the assault in Episode 1. A traumatic past and/or a sense of human contact perverted by her upbringing. Sorry. ;-)
This drama is very aesthetically pleasing and exudes a very strong particular vibe. I can already see it’s not…
I hope the ML's first love was another girl. But, yes, there's reason to suspect the chillhood trope. It can be considered otherwise, though. The other girl meets a tragic fate. So the ML may fear that the FL also meets a tragic fate. I stop thinking about it, I start speculating and spoiling myself, lol!
It's not that surprising. In Korea, consulting a psychologist is not considered a good idea. It can ruin a career.…
The style of World of the Maried is not usual for a kdrama. It's a fairly realistic social and human portrait. The tone is reminiscent of the first half of the movie Parasite, or the Sky Castle drama. It's not a rom-com at all! It's kind of harsh sometimes. The drama has good tension and suspense, thanks to the background music. Otherwise it's sober and the story is very simple. What gives the richness are the reactions of the characters, surgically restored. The actors are particularly good. This has no similarities with "Psycho it's okay", which is a rather dark drama, but whose darkness is largely diminished by the rom-com or comedy aspect. World of the Maried is on the contrary shocking, immersive and intense in its realism. It's a very good drama, exciting. The ending is neither joyful nor sad, it's just fatality where events lead.

I hope you'll be all right, life isn't easy everywhere. In Korea, there's an unbelievable suicide rate. Things aren't so good there either. People have suffered a lot during the economic change that took so much work. I think watching Korean dramas that touch our hearts is more effective than consulting a psychologist. I recommend the dramas written by screenwriter Park Hye Ryun (I hear your voice, pinocchio, While you were sleeping, page turner) because they have a great power to give us hope and optimism despite the obstacles. Anxiety makes us chase others away, because deep down inside we feel that no one can do anything to help us. Who could change our feelings except ourselves? It's better not to cut yourself off from everything anyway, and a few real friends can help, or at least listen. If you live in India, there is Buddhism which is part of this culture. I don't live in India, but it's also something that has helped me a lot. W is also my favorite drama, I even wrote the sequel! You can see on my profile a link to my blog, with the first episodes I made in photo-drama ;-)
I heard the rating dropped. What's wrong with people? I'm an international fan but i want it to do it well on…
It's not that surprising. In Korea, consulting a psychologist is not considered a good idea. It can ruin a career. It seems strange here, but one must also consider the opposite excess: excess psychology is not valid either. It's something that doesn't help us. Moreover, in Korea, people express much more emotional feelings (I think it's a good thing, because for that you need to have a lot of strength, and to have a steady country). So, psychological problems are solved more naturally, through emotional interactions. That's why Korean dramas are so good, and why we love them from where we live. Note: In the drama W, Oh Sung Moo has to consult a psychiatrist, and we feel all his discomfort about it. To him, it's an unpleasant end. However, some problems that are psychiatric (this is different from psychology) should not be taboo. Perhaps this aspect was not perceived.
For now, I don't think so. You could say that easely with a drama like "my fair lady", but not here. But I'm agree…
Nothing definite, but it's a possible twist. The ML will probably not want history to repeat itself in such a disastrous way, in any case. The tale is then bound to repeat itself in another way. It's a pretty compelling story line, isn't it?
The plot and twists on this i feel are on level of W another parallel world story .I am still amazed that W worked…
TKEM's main problem was not to have the narrative quality of W (or even of any other drama). And also, not to offer a story that would be hectic quickly. Otherwise, indeed, it could have been a success. TKEM's problems of understanding and confusion unfortunately prevented me from appreciating the few plot-twists that take place in the last part of the drama. It's a pity because there was good potential. In fact, I made an analysis (never published) of the differences in narration between the two dramas. The precise reasons why certain elements work in one and not in the other. It was very instructive, I learned a lot by doing that.
What was the last good drama of lee minho? Boys over flowers?
City hunter is a good drama. I can't say LMH is at his best into it, but the drama is better than "legend of blue sea" or "the heirs". People often like very much "Faith", but I didnt watched that. Boy over flowers maybe good, but as I watched the original japanese drama, I didn't watch BOF. It was a good drama.
the characters and their relation dont feel natural also cinematography is too dramatic
There are certain artificial processes that distract attention (the vomit scene or others like it). This hinders immersion in the seriousness of the topics being discussed. I also find it difficult to regain dramatic intensity when certain elements are over-exaggerated. In a way, I find the cinematography not dramatic enough, and this is based on the canvas of rom-com.
It's a drama that catches me, but I'm forced to observe that episode 2 slows down a bit, and that I don't feel the enthusiasm of my favorite dramas (for now). Fortunately, there's a very good tension in some scenes between the two leads. Slightly erotic tension even, hum hum.
I can understand those that say this show is similar to HDL but I personally don't see & feel it (coming from…
The aesthetics of the drama and FL's style of dress have something in common. But the theme is very different. I hope that the ML of "psycho is ok" won't be a flat and limp guy like the one in HDL!
❝A huge part of this drama is the role reversal of the stereotypical kdrama dynamic between the male leads on…
For now, I don't think so. You could say that easely with a drama like "my fair lady", but not here. But I'm agree there is a reversal of stereotype because both FL and ML have psychic disorders, and you don't see that often in a drama. The story is about that first. It's difficult to foresee who save who. And the end of episode 2, it's rather the ML who is on the way to save FL, because he know her and is psycho-helper (she's the same of his first love). As both characters have psychic disorder, it could also work the other way. The characters would help each other, and it could be in a violent way, because they are attracted. To early for predicting all this...
The second episode stabilizes, and there are fewer burlesque scenes. There's good mood, and the potential for the sequel, with Yeon-Joo's branch office principle and company. The drama is quite fresh. The two main actors are very good, so it helps to bring it up a bit. Not so bad, not great either.
There are some good points about the script. The script takes the professional situation seriously. The multiple problems of this type of grocery store, cigarette sales, law, registration of receipts. And the guy doing the live show is not only funny, but credible enough. I can well imagine a very well-known shopkeeper giving advice to other professionals, on his web channel, with that tone of voice.
Sorry. ;-)

Best role of her life. She's perfect into this.
And more beautiful than usual.
Difficult to make a choice.... Mmmh mh.. I think I prefer Yeon-joo a bit more.
