Yes I don't know why this is important. Just historically I think China wants it's culture to be pure Chinese. Just hate on Japan. Actors cancelled for visiting locations in Japan, costumes cancelled for Japanese styling. I've noticed many costumes that could be bleed ins from other cultures. Plains people some of their costumes like North American Indian. Some of their embroidered styles like Eastern European and Russian styles. The list goes on. I think there are some very racist people running China. Too bad. I find the Chinese people warm, lovable and just like all the rest of the world they want to survive and thrive. Peace♥

In China all things Japanese are frowned upon. Some of the costume stylist did Japanese styling on some of the costumes in Queen Lau drama and there was a big up roar about this. (Japan invaded China so Chinese are against Japan.) Apparently there were a few costume tweeks in LLTTG too so they now have to go back and airbrush them out and fix as much as they can so as not come under the censorship for Japan like costumes.

Happy ending but much turmoil to get there. ♥

The first 5 episodes are back ground it gets better from there. You will laugh, cry and feel hate and injustice. I think it's well done. ♥

No some of them are given the title or a nobles (such as a prince from previous dynasty or Emperors brother.) Only the one daughter of the Empress and one daughter of the Consort are Emperor's off spring.

Yes, not enough is said about the director's of all the C Dramas. You can have the same actor and they appear to do a fantastic job and then in another series with the same actor way different. The quality of an actor's performance is up to what the director accepts. I know it's more costly to "get it right" but well worth it in the long run for the production company. Of course choosing the right actor for the part goes a long way but getting the scenes right and drawing out the best is the director's job. This director is fantastic. He has picked the right actors and drawn out their best performances. KUDOS!!! ♥

CSS waits the full 5 yrs but ends up having another arranged marriage with Yuan Shen < the scholar. LBY comes back before the wedding. << thank heavens. He then pursues CSS again. The story does have a happy ending. How it will happen in this series we shall wait and see.♥

No he as he said he will only be with CSS.

He goes on a killing spree to kill the guys that killed his family. The Emperor is furious and decides rather than killing him to send him to the border. End engagement. ♥

I don't know. We can only go by the novel but this series has major differences to the novel. We shall have to wait and see. ♥

He goes on a killing spree. He (LBY) kills the people who killed his family. The Emperor sends him away. (He's lucky he doesn't get killed). Engagement over and has to leave the city to the borders for 5 yrs. CSS gives up hope and an engagement is arranged for her. He does come back just in time.♥

The engagement of CSS and LBY. The case LBY is working comes to a head and tragic ending by LBY which causes the engagement to be off. CSS time with LBY and the Empress. Some time spend with Yuan Shen and CSS engagement to him. Return of LBY after 5 yrs. ♥

They won't be married for a while. There is a year engagement then something happens and LBY is sent away for 5 yrs. Not until almost the end of part 2. ♥

No one praises her except both LY and LBY. Is it that Mom can't see the good in her? CSS is a very caring person and smart too. Even her Dad didn't stick up for her. I would have done a side smack to stop her. CSS made a really good point if it was Yang Yang would the mother have run her down into the ground to stop an engagement. The resounding answer was no. I think a light went on with MOM. Too late though CSS has told them to butt out she will handle it going forward without their help.
