I can't say about the drama but in the book, there is no romance with 3 guys. The men like her but she doesn't see them as anything more than friends and confidante. That applies for the two of the men, Ning YunZhao and ZhuZan. As for the third one ...her ex husband Lu YunQi....she hates his guts. There's zero chance of romance between her and her ex husband as she had genuinely fallen in love with him but he betrayed her. He was an accomplice of her father's murder...if that was not enough don't forget he also stabbed her when she was attacking her uncle in the first episode.

Yes I liked it a lot. The way she takes revenge is also good. But it drags a lot in the middle like some 300 chapters could be done away with. Mostly when she was establishing her medical practice to gain fame. Dont know how much more will be changed in the drama. For now its still pretty much similar to the book. Some changes here and there. They added more scenes between the main leads. They didn't meet this fast in the book. I think they met after she leaves the Fang house....not sure though.
There was not much romance in the book. They got together literally on the last page.

Oh really, I'm on ep 05 so thats still not done I think. They have changed the order of the scenes. Actually he solved the puzzle and won the prize money and left. She never met him. Later when she found out he was the one who solved it, she forced him to tell her how he knew the answer. That was one of the funniest scene in the book. She literally clung to his body and wouldn't let go until he told her.Her teacher used to treat ZhuZan. When he was a child, he had some illness that made him stay indoors. Her teacher stayed there for a while. I think that's when he studied under the same teacher as Juiling.

In the book he figured it out himself. She made a lantern that is actually a puzzle. She learnt it from her teacher. But what she doesn't know is that only one person has solved that puzzle...and thats Zhu Zan. Her teacher had only 2 pupils Juiling and Zhu Zan. I hope I'm remembering it right....its been a few years since I read the book.

From what I remember from the book, though not clearly, is that the guy in the wheelchair is the heir of the Fang family. Only surviving male in the family. Juiling finds out he's sick because someone in the house is poisoning him slowly. The marriage is fake and is arranged to give Juiling right to stay in the guy's room and start his treatment in secret. Grandma and Juiling also find out one of the Fang family's most trusted person is actually a snake and is also responsible for all the accidents and deaths that happened to all the male members of the family. The reason grandma and Juiling are doing this in secret is because someone in the house is helping that bad guy.

Thank you for telling me that. But I never said I want anything between Mingxi and Anle, only that I like their scenes better then Anle and Hanye..til the part I've read. Just like I like Anning and Anle scenes. I completely understood from my reading the novel that there was nothing more than lifelong friendship, siblings relationship between Anle and Mingxi. I can appreciate other well written characters in the novel and their relationship with the leads without shipping them, you know. Like Wen shou and HanYe, I love their dynamic especially if what they're hinting about Wen Shou is true.

Lol, I'm not anyone's shipper. I don't care who has more scenes in the drama...its all going to be changed from the book anyways. Only reason I got interested in this drama enough to go read the book was because of Gong Jun. Hope his character is better written in the drama than the book.

Are you sure its not the other way around? They must be giving Luo MingXi's scenes to Han Ye, coz he has some of the best scenes with AnLe in the book. Luo ming Xi was drying AnLe's wet hair, for gods sake. I'm on chapter 84 and all of the scenes of Ren AnLe and Luo MingXi are better written then her scenes with HanYe. Second place belongs to Anle and Princess AnNing....until chap 84 at least.

Let's hope they got great screen writers. A lot of it depends on how the writer decides to change the storyline and the characters...and how convincing it is.
