Wow. Wow. Wow. I call this… Lee Jae Wook‘s redemption for that last horrible production “The Impossible Heir.” Bring 1 or 2 boxes of tissues because it is needed. My faith in Lee Jae Wook’s acting skills is still unshakable.
Whoever wrote and scripted the second part of this production (Episode 18 and on…) was on some unique and on some very special crack ( Or on some many many many narcotics). What the hell am I watching right now? This makes no freaking sense whatsoever.
I am in episode 10 and pretty much, every single character is getting on my nerves. Most of all, that sanctimonious righteous idiot, the 3rd prince… And the ML’s annoying sister… I feel sorry for Liu Xue Yi, such a great actor…. However, most of his project’ selections are mostly beneath his caliber.
“Kill Me Love Me” was not that bad; most definitely, better than this one. Can’t wait for “The Blood of Youth Season 2.”
Why is this drama 7.9 now it was 8.2 what's wrong with people. If you don't like action dramas please pass it…
This is easily an 8.7 rating. Both Kim Nam Gil and Kim Young Kwang gave 2 wonderful portrayals with multiple layers. One of the best that I have watched from Kim Young Kwang and many years.
This is simply a great production. A storyline where the protagonist and the villain are equally great. Both sides are well-executed and well-scripted. At least an 8.7 rating.
PS: One of the rare times where the villain’s character is so hot that it is difficult to hate him.
Exactly! And they had the audacity of calling it… their love tribulation…Immortals with their full memories…
No. No. Don’t tell me. He also disappoints. Okay, I am telling you… This is one more Joseph that I might drop as well. It seems that the better he gets at his craft, the worse his project selections are.
Exactly! And they had the audacity of calling it… their love tribulation…Immortals with their full memories…
Please let me know about 18… Right now, the only characters that I like are the divine tree immortal, the dog, and that mortal friend who talks too much. Not really a good thing when the 2 The main characters are not really likable. And obsessive loverboy is coming…. GREAT!
in their first test to be human in mortal realm..why they still can use their power..even their memories still…
Exactly! And they had the audacity of calling it… their love tribulation… Immortals with their full memories and powers. THAT IS A VACATION. NOT A LOVE TRIBULATION.
I've got to say there is so much miscommunication, misunderstandings, and the strangeness in the writings of their characters… I can barely feel their companionship or their romantic affection.
I am in episode 17 and I am thinking… This might be one more Joseph that I might drop.
Watch it if you love the actors.. Otherwise better to skip it..
That's the thing. I only enjoyed watching Song Wei Long in “Go Ahead” and Angelababy in “General and I.” “Love the Way You Are” and “Divine Destiny” were ok but her counterparts did a much better job than her.
That first episode was very difficult to watch. Her facial expressions seemed to have been frozen in some kind of liquid nitrogen mixture. It remained constantly the same.
Their kissing scenes were awkward to watch.
On the other hand, in KMLM, the kidding scenes were fire.
Wow.

It is REALLY not good.
I have never skipped that many episodes from a Liu Xue Yi’s project… EVER!
What the hell am I watching right now?

I am in episode 24, they have kissed a couple of times now and they were laughable.

In every production that I have seen her in.

He really grew on me even with excessive meddling😭.

Being pretty is simply not enough.
This production was a real gem among the very few gems.

I don't know.
