I so wanted this to be a serious spy thriller drama with the added adorable new family for our best (crème de la crème) NIS black agent, Kim Bon. However, that is so so so so so not it:(
Instead, it is a comedy spy with absolutely no logic... Whatsoever. And I am using the word “SPY” very loosely. It is more like a “What Not To Do” James Bond/Jason Bourne 101 course.
*A top (crème de la crème) agent... to use an incredibly bright blue car as a mode of transportation during a car chase is definitely and hilariously stupid. LOL So I am taking it for what it is: A comedy drama with no logic and with the most 2 adorable little twins, ever.

A parallel movie to that drama is Empire of Lust. He plays Yi Bang Won’s characters in both of them. JH is extremely diverse; he is unbelievably astute at playing protagonist as well as antagonist characters.

Agreed. This movie came out during the pandemic; hence, the low viewing. When things are back to normal, they should definitely re-release it in theaters as a big blockbuster.

To our 2 brilliant writers, Park Kye-Ok and Choi A-Il, Thank you for not ruining this phenomenal historical drama. It was only 20 episodes long; however, they were the most enjoyable and the most hilarious episodes that we have seen since the release of Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People in 2017. Indeed, it has been a while since we had a great Sageuk. And Mr. Queen most definitely brought it!!!
Now, let’s address the pink elephant in the room: Jang Bong-Hwan slept with a boy and got pregnant... LOL Does that make him gay after he transmigrated back to his modern self? *Not there is absolutely anything wrong with that... ;)
