Same! I’m thinking it’s from the Valentine’s Day episode, where ML was living in FL’s house. That episode/story ended and wasn’t continued in the next.

Are there any deleted scenes?

I noticed the Valentine’s Day episode (I think it was ep 25/26) was cut rather abruptly — next episode showed CNY celebrations right away. I thought I missed an episode.

Also, on the same episode, XJJ saw a gift in the drawer, that wasn’t explained.

One more thing: ep 29/30, there’s a flashback of FL & ML planting a rose 🌹…

So easy to get confused/tricked, really. By today’s drama standards, Nakatsu has all the qualities of an ML: fun, naughty, supportive of the girl, etc.

But this was in the 2000s, when the grumpy & serious, with sad backstory guys won the girls’ (& viewers’) hearts.
