also not to mention the clichés parts where I often don't know if I need to take them seriously, but I saw so…
I agree.
Contrary to most though I came into this looking for romance but was actually enjoying the mystery and intrigue for the 1st half, so I was completely thrown off when the focus did fully switch to the romance. I actually struggled through that transition - not because the romance was bad, but because I was enjoying the comedic-thriller energy a lot more than I expected. It wasn't anything great, but it was entertaining and drew me in.
Then around episode 8 I think it was it just kinda lost steam for a bit, which made it difficult to pick back up that momentum later on. It's not a horrible drama at all though. Just, like you said, one with many aspects which could have been done better.
Supervision is only helpful if the person with it has at least half a brain.
Ummm...if your hands are taped together in front of you and you're wearing a blindfold, why wouldn't you just slip the blindfold up to see where you are - it's not like she couldn't reach it - and why not try chewing the tape until you're able to break free??? Like what dumbass criminal would tie a person up that way. I hate it when writers don't pay attention to the most basic details. I'm not expecting some fantastic writing but seriously??
I remember almost dropping this too because I absolutely couldn't stand the female lead. But she goes through…
Yeah. I can definitely agree with you on that but she at least tolerable. Or maybe it's more like they space out her more annoying moments so it's tolerable. LoL!
Did anyone else hate the 2nd FL? She was an awful character! She cheated on her boyfriend with their best friend,…
SOOOOOOO hated her! She was selfish as hell. Why the SML was so in love with her I don't even know and that he stayed in love with her through it all. He deserved better. He truly loved his best friend though and he felt bad for almost making that mistake. But the truth is the ML only got together with the SFL because she confessed. She knew he never really was in love with her but she kept trying to force it. It wasn't intentional on ML's part though. She should have faced up to reality and broken up with him properly but she kept trying to force the issue. If you noticed, it was the SML that stopped when they almost slept together. He couldn't betray his best friend. She would have gone through with it though.
I always go to MyDramalist to check the names of the cast but now it made me drop the drama because knowing that…
You've got to see it to understand it's not as horrible as it sounds. I'm normally HUGELY against such tropes but this isn't THAT.
They all grew up together and SML loved her all along and planned to confess but she confessed to ML right as he was about to. He tried his hardest to support them because he truly loved them both. They got drunk and she's the one who really initiated because she felt lonely because ML hadn't been paying much attention to her and with all the feelings he'd been holding back for so long he almost made that mistake but stopped himself from betraying his best friend. ML and SFL pretty much only ended up together because SFL confessed. He'd never even really thought of her that way before that happened. His feelings for her never ran as deep as they should have though, which is most likely why she'd been feeling neglected. She knew he didn't love her as much. It wasn't conscious on his part at all though.
Also, it's not like other dramas where they all suddenly become friends again and all's good. It takes most of the drama for ML to begin even really talking to them again and he's never as close with them - SFL in particular - as they'd been in the past. SML truly loved and missed his best friend though and blamed himself for ruining everything for all of them. He felt horrible for YEARS.
I didn't like the SFL at all, from beginning to end. I found her to be very selfish. She knew ML wasn't really deeply in love with her but kept trying to force his feelings from the moment they started it was that way. I actually wished the SML ended up with someone different but with how deeply he'd always loved her, she was it for him unfortunately. SML was truly awesome and truly loved his best friend.
Wow only five minutes into it and I already hate the female lead. Absolute bitch.Edit: Got more into it and I…
I remember almost dropping this too because I absolutely couldn't stand the female lead. But she goes through enough that she's forced to become more humble pretty early on. It really is worth sticking it out for.
I read the 2 reviews above but haven't watched the show. However, that 2nd review, while trying to be open-minded is actually somewhat ridiculous. I'm very good friends with both of my ex-husbands. Shoot their friends with one another now too, despite only meeting through me and our relationships! We forced our way through the animosity because of our kids. However, it took time, space and that very strong motivation for us to get to that point and my break ups didn't involve me walking in on them cheating (because nope, I'd be in jail now). That IS unrealistic. When the breakup is that foul there's no way a person just moves past it so quickly and become THAT close again with an ex. Not a chance. There's also no way the new spouse (especially one in this kind of cheating situation) could possibly be okay with it. Unless they're into polygamy that's just not possible. In cases where the breakup is messy it IS possible to become friends again EVENTUALLY but that's usually after a good period of time has passed, including a significant period of separation where they're not in any way involved in the other person's lives. For them to be working together in the same dang office? Yeah, no. Unrealistic. Not unless their emotionless drones.
I'm only bringing this up because I don't really like how that review bashed certain aspects of the first. Granted, they did it pretty tactfully. I really can't say I agree with the first review, mind you, since I haven't watched the drama and the description of the situations somewhat skims the topics to view them generically, which I believe is in part what the 2nd review actually took issue with - and which I can definitely understand. You can't just say A had a messy break up with B but A was able to just brush it off and they became friends - of course, that sounds stupid. I assume there was more to it which is what the 2nd review is trying to relay. However, some of the 2nd review's reasonings were completely unrealistic which completely contradicts the "realism" they kept trying to promote and praise about the drama. If the drama wants to portray realistic experiences, it should also incorporate realistic emotions. There has to me more that just being overly nice and mature for it to be realistic that the FL would become so close to her ex so soon after their ugly breakup and under those circumstances (being in such close proximity). Something that particularly motivates them to overcome the hurt and put it all behind them.
With that said, I really can't decide if I want to watch this. If it's the typical Asian-drama lack of repercussions for terrible behavior which I believe is what the first review is really eluding too, then not a chance in hell. I especially hate when criminal behavior goes completely unpunished and ignored in these dramas. So, for the moment, I think I'm leaning to NO.
OMG! The way they choose to “explain” the abusive stalker dude’s behavior is to blame it on the way his…
Yes it does! It got a lot better for me after the first few episodes. A lot of what people complained about was actually addressed in the series too so I think it's worth checking out yourself. Have fun!
Thank you so much https://faladascreations.com/ for subbing this!!! WE LOVE YOU!
Are all episodes subbed? Or is this still incomplete.
I love and am always grateful to subbers. Why that isn’t a bigger, more well-paid profession I can’t figure out for the life of me but for the number of people worldwide who rely on them, they’re godsends! The fact that most subbers chose to do this on their own is even more commendable. THANK YOU!!!
The whole story was based on misunderstandings but it has a happy ending. The mains officially got together at…
Hi I know it’s been a long time for you so you may not even remember but how heavy is the love triangle? Does it go on for most of the drama? It’s a short drama but if most of it surrounds the love triangle I’d rather not waste my time.
Also do the leads clear up their misunderstandings relatively early or towards the end?
Drama basically starts of with a misunderstanding but once it got resolved it's mostly smooth sailing.
Not sure if you’ll still remember but how heavy is the love triangle in this? Does it go on for a long time? It’s a short drama but I’m not a fan of love triangles so I’d rather move on to something else if that drags on throughout the show.
