As much as gao is at fault xu lina also equally did wrong. Gao did everything for her but as soon as li xun was…
That's obvious. That's basic adultery though. Convincing your wife to start an affair with another man just so you can beat him is entirely next level shit. You're basically selling her.
Special episode is already available (not in english) here :https://www.duboku.tv/vodplay/3213-1-37.html
Agh! Why? WHYYYYY would they cut this out of the main story! Soooo beautiful and impactful and that's with me not even understanding half of what was said! LOL!
I can't believe I almost didn't get to see this! Thank you soooooooooooo much for posting this link!
Subtitles are a mess on Viki. I appreciate that people volunteer to do this, so don’t jump on me. The problem…
Agreed. Honestly if I worked for these companies I'd have several permanent teams of subtitle staff and editors employed by now. At least for the high demand languages. It's definitely warranted after this much time and with an enormous (and still growing) target market. They should also be paid extremely well because it's how they've been able to successfully reach such a large market.

Okay finally finished it. It got pretty nerve-wrecking again there for a bit but didn't completely let me down thank goodness! There are a couple of plot lines I wasn't completely satisfied with but am at least able to make myself accept, mainly because everything else was just so exceptionally pleasing and well done. I'm really, really happy I watched this drama. It was a great experience.
I have a question. How am I supposed to find it romantic (or even view it positively) that a woman chooses to stay married to a man who not only mentally traumatized and hit her but even tried to convince her to have an affair with his enemy just so he could use it to somehow defeat him? After taking things to that extreme, this attempt to make GJH's actions and feelings towards Li Na seem to somehow still be full of love, is just ridiculous and laughable.

Word of warning I'm midway through ep. 34 and it's happening again. I keep stopping. I feel like I'm going to be extremely disappointed in the direction this drama takes (since Chinese dramas have the frustrating tendency of showing leniency to antagonists) if it goes a certain way and after loving it so much so far I'll be EXTREMELY disappointed if they do. But I hope like hell that I'm wrong. I need to prepare myself a bit before going on.
If you've already finished the drama, of course, just ignore me.
And what type of shit is she letting him get away with? She isn't giving any hopes to the family friend character…
Seriously. Is it me or does this person sound just like FL's mother? Making judgements without trying to understand the person and reasons why they made the decisions they did.
And what type of shit is she letting him get away with? She isn't giving any hopes to the family friend character…
LOL! Not trying to be mean (not at all), but when I read this I thought, "this sounds exactly like her mother".
The fact is we all know the guy is damaged and after so many episodes it's pretty impossible not to realize he doesn't know how to treat people. He has literally ALWAYS used extreme matters to do what he thought was right. His interpersonal skills suck and everyone knows it. But his heart is HUGE, and she's literally the most important person to him.
He clearly believed she would live happily once she left and moved on and didn't want to make her go through what he KNEW she would (no matter what he said to deter her) if he didn't force her away first. His mistake wasn't that he didn't love her. It was that he underestimated HER love for HIM. He didn't realize the depth of the pain he'd really be putting her through. As soon as he found out he was wrecked.

The guy also conspires with her mother to get closer to her. He's not an idiot. Quite frankly, her behavior towards him in that regard seems more like it has something to do with their dynamic growing up. They probably always conspired together. Either way, the dude is choosing to let her continue to use him. Most likely so he can keep tabs on her (and I'm pretty certain she knows that too). That's on him.
I let out a rant on here about him earlier today (couldn't help it; my fingers went crazy I was so over him) but…
EXACTLY! I didn't really care about Fang Zhi Jing. But Gao Jian Hong? Then the gloating after like he'd really earned his success instead of stolen it?
Thats not the problem because they are almost tofether all the time even after breakup
They were not openly in love with each other. That's the difference. Of course their relationship would have changed from what it was before. Now they've both openly confirmed their feelings and fully committed themselves to one another. No matter what there'll be an adjustment period for them and in their dynamics - which there clearly was.
Not gonna lie. Li Xun beating Fang Zhi Jing's ass was very gratifying. My only brief moment of disappointment…
SATISFACTION!!! OH OH OH! He lost his eye! I don't care how violent I seem right now. I'm keeping it real. I smiled and cheered when her dad said his eyeball had to be removed. Damn straight!
