I often find myself impressed with the Chinese cities and neighborhoods portrayed in these dramas. It stands out to me a lot when I which c-dramas, much more so than others. China seems to put quite a lot of effort and money in maintaining and portraying its beauty. At least that’s my impression after watching so many dramas. It always captures my attention, just like it did in this one.

Are there any annoying love triangles I need to be wary about?

Also all of the interior designs of the homes and offices are stunning. Everything’s beautiful. FL’s home is so pretty and cozy looking. ML’s is grand and modern without being tacky or overly cold.

Okay I LITERALLY just started watching the first episode and immediately had to come on here to comment about that first song/track. I am ALREADY in love with the music! Wow!

I was the opposite. I’d have been so disappointed if they didn’t at least give it a shot. I’m not usually a fan of second chances but I thought it would have been a real shame for them.

However, my favorite scene of the entire movie was the one where her best friend, Ten, complained because both he and his businessman ex were bottoms! Lmaooooo! I died! Too funny. With that said, clearly my tastes run differently. Lol!

I totally agree with you about their looks.

I loved the ending! I saw the reviews and comments and thought she went back to the abusive ex. Thank lord she didn’t! I’m so glad these 2 worked things out and got together in the end. Love, emotions, feelings are all messy. Still loving one another after that much time passed is what makes it special. Enough time passed for them to clear all the confusion within them and get to the truth of their feelings. I’d have been so upset if she didn’t try again with him in the end, when he was being so sincere. Especially since he’s completely cut ties with the ex.

Okay I get that she didn’t know it was her birthday but still. She didn’t stop to think about how her boyfriend might feel about her going to the amusement park with another guy? I realize it’s her first time dating but her behavior is a complete turnoff.

It was so great up to episode 9. 10 is where it started going south for me - that behavior from the 2nd ML REALLY turned me off. I’m only halfway through ep 11 and I’m seriously considering dropping this which is extremely (super duper) rare for me to do. The FL calling her “friend” instead of her boyfriend to the hospital and then going on what’s clearly a date (no matter how much you downplay it) with him on her BIRTHDAY, instead of spending time with her boyfriend is what’s pretty much killed it for me. The main couple is so cute together so I want to see more of them but all this time she’s spending with the 2nd ML needs to stop or I can’t watch anymore.

By the way, they said early on that all of those with gifts have to give up something for having them. For healers it must be that healing gifted drains their own life energy. The more healing required the more that’s taken. Don’t know yet what the protectors lose though.

They’ve long since been irrelevant. They keep trying to come off as an adult but as an adult myself I rarely come across other adults who act this way so I actually don’t even believe it.

Y’all. Don’t feed into it. This attention is exactly what someone like this wants. What other reason would they have posted that initial comment in the first place? People like this can’t stand being ignored AND they’re aren’t even worth wasting your time and energy on! So the simple answer to ignorance is - NEXT TOPIC!

They clearly aren’t an adult and it’s obvious the intelligence is lacking so why are you allowing yourself to get frustrated. It’s absolutely not worth your time nor your energy. I’m sure this isn’t what you came on here for and this person isn’t the type of person you usually find on here so just move on any ignore them sugar.

I’m sorry for giving in and saying something. I really wasn’t going to say anything at all, but you’re coming across very negative and abrasive. Look at how your comments read and come across compared to those responding. You don’t have to respond to everyone if you don’t like what they said. It comes off as being very defensive and honestly that’s not what this site is about. Even the comment you made in the first place was completely unnecessary. What’s the point of posting that? If you aren’t interested in seeing her act then don’t. Move on to the next topic.

I’ve been coming on here for a long time and am pretty shocked at the way this conversation chain played out.

I’ll have to try finishing this when it’s subbed better somewhere. It’s like dramacool and dailymotion both used google translate but didn’t bother cleaning up the translations before posting. This show seems pretty good but it’s too frustrating trying to understand and follow. Not sure why it’s been so difficult (and such a long wait) getting this one properly subbed.

I waited almost 2 years to re-watch and there were still so many times where I questioned whether or not I was mistaken and had watched it recently. I think it left such an impact with me that every detail remains fresh in my mind. I actually rated it higher after rewatching too. Don’t care what anyone says - I loved it. It was one of my first Asian dramas (my first Chinese drama, I believe) so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I enjoyed the Korean version too. Don’t believe I’ve seen the Japanese one yet but I’ll check it out too. I just love this story in all its variations.
