OMG we’re so on the same page. Once I started tolerating her my impression of her was that she was extremely dumb and naive! Even when I say I like her it’s more that I can tolerate her, and other than the male lead, what made me actually end up liking the drama (bearing in mind I’m only just nearing the end of ep 12) was the neighborhood more than the situation with the main couple.

I’m about to begin ep. 10 now and can finally, confidently, say I like the FL now and understand why there’s so much positive feedback for this drama. Those 3 Women’s Association ladies are awesome and hilarious as well. Loving this now.

Okay. She’s less annoying now. I hate to keep griping. He’s awesome though.

I’m on episode 5 now and was just about to post how right you were when she pissed me off again. She simply doesn’t acknowledge the harm she causes to those around her and only thinks of herself and what she wants or needs. Because she doesn’t acknowledge her wrongs she continues causing harm to those around her. She is exceptionally toxic. She’s lucky he’s as nice as he is - anger issues and all.

Ughhhhh! She irks me so much! He’s trying so hard to avoid her but she keeps going out of her way to approach him and start shit. I may end up dropping this but I’m trying to give it a chance since so many people loved it. It must get better. Please get better!

Right! I’ve only just started watching (currently on ep. 2) and I seriously can’t stand her. I get the mental illnesses she’s struggling with but is she even trying to rationalize her thoughts? I’m hoping my impression of her will improve as the show progresses.

Aaaaaaand my 2nd ML syndrome is gone. Once a couple gets together the ‘friend’ needs to back off. I hate when they act all possessive and disrespectful to the boyfriend. I get that they’re jealous but that’s their own problem to deal with. All he’s doing is putting the person he supposedly cares for in a bad and uncomfortable position, which is a major turnoff for me.

Of course, I already see the break up coming either with the vet situation or that other chick pulling some stunt (or both). So he may have an opportunity to make a move but that’s when it should be done. Not while they’re a couple and dating. So now I don’t want them to get together at all, even if the leads do break up.

Okay. After watching a bit more I’m back to thinking she’s not so had. Seems like she finally got into the character. Or maybe it’s that she’s strong in some aspects of acting and weak in others? I dunno.

Okay. Her acting gets better. Like she finally found her rhythm.

Can I just reiterate how f’ing hot Namgoong Min is though?! Jesus Lord this man is sexilicious!

I like the male lead too though. Plus he’s super hot. SUPER HOT! 2nd ML is hot too but he can’t top ML. It’s the dynamic of the friendship between the FL and 2nd ML that has me shipping them together. However, the more I watch (I’m only on ep 6 now) the more I’m looking forward to seeing how the 2 leads relationship develops.

I’m only just realizing I’m not really a fan of Hwang Jung Eum actually. I do remember the way she talked starting to grate on my nerves towards the end of another series she was in but that series was otherwise good enough to make me grit my teeth through it so that I was eventually able to brush it off. I’m only on ep. 6 of this one but I’ve realized her acting is the only thing I’m not enjoying so far. She’s not bad and, yes, she comes across as somewhat natural to some extent, but it somehow just doesn’t fit the scenes. Everyone else just seems to fit. But she just stands out for me in a way that doesn’t flow with everyone else acting alongside her. I can’t really describe it well. It just seems like she’s trying too hard. I understand that many people won’t agree though. I’m just sharing my opinion.

I think FL’s acting is too overdone. It keeps ruining the scenes, making them cringe-worthy instead of funny or cute. Otherwise the show seems okay…decent…watchable. I’m only on episode 6 so let’s see how this goes.

This is my first time having 2nd lead syndrome - EVER (not even Twilight back in the day lol). Even when I really like the 2nd lead I never really want them to end up with the lead because, for me, the dynamic between the leads is usually stronger. I’m only on the 2nd episode so my feelings might change but the relationship the FL has with the 2nd ML is a beautiful one that could (and honestly should) turn romantic, but I’m curious to see if they’re able to change my mind on this.
