OMG! There was totally tongue action in that kiss in the study when they were preparing fir the wedding in the last episode! Holy hell. For China that’s practically porn! Lmaooo!
Okay it’s my 2nd time watching this drama and I have to say I agree that Cong Rong shouldn’t have skipped…
As nicely as they tried to play it off that other intern knew damn well she should have been the one to go get the evidence and should have pushed for Cong Rong to trust her with THAT if she was really looking out for her. The fact is she wanted to be the one to go to court first and especially with that lawyer. She wasn’t a true friend at all. All that drama that day could easily have been avoided.
Okay it’s my 2nd time watching this drama and I have to say I agree that Cong Rong shouldn’t have skipped out on the first day of court for the online case she pushed so hard for. Don’t get me wrong. I completely understand why she felt the need to drop everything to save her man BUT her boss already took her off that case and assigned the other intern to it. So the other intern should have flown to Shanghai to get the evidence for Shao Qing’s case (as it was now her case) and Cong Rong should have gone to court like she was supposed to. If she could trust the other intern with the online case she definitely should have had enough faith in her to secure the evidence they needed to help Shao Qing. Just my thoughts.
Couldn’t agree more. About to rewatch it now actually. It’s been several months since I first saw it and I can’t believe how excited i am to watch it again already.
The investigations and arguments in this drama are so terrible, it’s driving me crazy. Doesn’t anyone understand what constitutes cause and effect? The show is entertaining enough but if I sigh one more time I might end up choking. LOL! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dislike the series so far (I’m only on ep 7), but I have to stop watching a do something to distract myself from the idiocy (play a game on my phone, watch BTS on YouTube or something - hehe) every so often during each episode, just so I can tolerate and continue watching.
Some issues that deserved to be explored more & bothered me -(1) Da Qi's medical condition & what was the progress…
Just one thing. Don’t forget she took and passed the bar exam even before graduating. When Da Qi asked her in earlier episodes why she wasn’t a lawyer and only an assistant then her response was that she still had a lot to learn despite having passed the exam so she took on the role of assistant. I think they were inferring she had her license already which was why she was legally able to speak to clients and make decisions. She was really doing an Apprenticeship. This occurred in ep. 2 I believe.
If anyone believes 1 text could bring down a plane in this day and age I’d be floored. Just sayin’. At most any “interference” would last all of 2 seconds, allowing more than enough time for a pilot to make necessary adjustments. But seriously. I’m only 5 mins into this but I had to pause and make that comment real quick lol.
Dang really? I'm right at episode 12 and a little annoyed at the second male lead tbh. Should I stop?
And I agree about the abusive therapy. He clearly knew the source of the problem too, which makes it even worse. At no point did the “therapist” actually try to treat the source of the problem before moving on to addressing the symptoms. In fact, I blame the therapist in large part for his complete breakdown in later episodes. He knew it would happen if there was a major stressor and did nothing to try to help him to prevent it. He only decided to be a doctor when it was realistically too late. He absolutely never cared about his patient and therapy is all about trust. I could go on and on but this character just disgusts me.

You’re so right about this character though. He literally ABUSED his patient trying to force him away from the girl he likes. All the things he did were only to try to separate them. Yet the writers never addressed that and even went on to try to make him redeemable. That one major aspect of this drama is a complete fail. Otherwise though, it’s pretty good.

“A little annoyed”?? I hate him. He abuses his “therapist” title to harass his patient instead of properly trying to help him. All because he’s worried he’ll steal the girl he likes (as if she belongs to him or something- he knows damn well she’ll reject him or he’d stop chickening out from telling her how he feels). He’s completely unethical and a complete jerk to do what he’s doing to his “patient”.
Couldn’t agree more. The doctor was entirely unethical and immoral. He was flat out hampering treatment and…
OMG he’s sooooo unethical! Your patient says he can’t trust you - and with good reason - and you not only press the issue of you continuing to “treat” him but you also continue to use his treatment against him to try to get the girl! (I’m on ep. 8 where he finally admits he’s the therapist). I can’t understand how he isn’t ever punished for his behavior. Wow!
I’m enjoying the show otherwise but this particular aspect is really ticking me off.
Con: The plot is very inconsistent. They normalized/romanticized doctor malpractice. Younger brother love story…
Couldn’t agree more. The doctor was entirely unethical and immoral. He was flat out hampering treatment and abusing his role as his doctor. If he couldn’t be man enough to confess and ask her out and be upfront, he should have at least declined taking him on as a patient. I’m thoroughly disgusted by his behavior. I’m only on ep. 5 but I definitely want to see him get his license revoked before this ends. I’m guessing by your comment that he doesn’t?
Okay someone please tell me the deal with the 2nd ML. I’m only at the beginning of ep 3 but I’m already pretty turned off by him. He’s annoying. Please tell me there’s no love triangle with him involved, and does he get any better? Please spoil so I can prepare myself.
Oh and Jasper’s voice is totally dubbed. I think I even recognize the voice but I can’t really place it. Would have been nice to hear his own voice though.
