Although I agree with you regarding the immaturity of SST, I do want to touch briefly on why NDS was immature here. I cannot speak for Yong San and Cheul San, because I do not know their parents-child dynamic.
First off, it is because NDS is 27 years old and living with him parents that gives him an artificial bubble to remain a child. In western societies, some children are forced to leave the nest at 18 years old, and thus, very similar to HJP, western children are forced to mature quickly and find their way in the world earlier. Some succeed, and some don't.
In eastern society, where parents do not often kick their children out, the immaturity phase will last a much longer, and Asian parents will fund their children during this phase as well. And since these asian children are not necessarily facing the real world in the same extent as western children, some of them may never break out from this immaturity bubble as what we see in NDS case. What normally helps children expand their bubble, and mature even within this bubble is a close relationship with the parents, where the parents can help guide these children through adulthood. But as we can see NDS is closer to his immature friends than to his parents. Which leads to the immaturity that we see in SST.
