Ugh was interested in this until I saw the cast.

This show has set the standard of female relationships so high I'm afraid I won't enjoy another drama again. It is such a breath of fresh air that the women here are all supportive and there is no green tea b*tch character that constantly schemes against the FL or a friend betraying her over a guy. Can cdramas please start normalizing this behavior so that these tropes will finally die???

Please do another badass ancient costume drama. I was a bit disappointed with the Wolf but only because the ML was such a jerk and they made her so weak. She needs a strong role where she can really shine. Bring it, queen!

LMFAO at people defending businesses and their right to gain even more money. Iqiyi started off with FREE shows that you could watch with ads and now most are 90% VIP. You can watch most of the shows they offer for free on Viki anyway so like??? I just wanted to watch from the app for the autoplay lol. Stay pressed.

What is up with Iqiyi only letting you watch the first ep for free now. They've moved all their dramas to VIP. So freaking greedy.

Maybe it’s just me but I feel like the main couple definitely got a role reversal. The ML is totally playing the role of the female in this relationship which is something I’ve never seen before. I actually like it. He doesn’t seem childish to me at all, just very Duanmu centric which makes him very one dimensional. If there’s one thing I will fault the drama at it’s that every character is obsessed with Duanmu Cui. It’s a good thing I like her though!

The FL and ML were everything that Love and Redemption tried and failed at. This is just a vastly superior drama and I’m sad it only has a 7.9 rating. I don’t know why people are put off with it being split into two seasons. It’s not their fault they had to do that to get around the ridiculous Cdrama censorship. I’m glad we’re getting a complete story and not something that was chopped up like Renascence.

The opening credits remind me of The Legends. Very beautiful OST with nice colorful stills of the cast. Doesn’t spoil anything and leaves you with a lot of intrigue. I love it!

Ahhh I binged all 32 eps in a week and need season 2 to come out ASAP. I'm loving this couple and the story is quite interesting. Finally we have a FL who isn't an idiot. I hope that doesn't change.
