Same. I like a lot of the cast, but I couldn't make myself pay attention, I was starting to notice a spot on my…
Ooh, I have one of those creaky spots in my hallway! Now I can sleep peacefully knowing that I will be able to hear the ninja assassins the moment before they murder me. Hm, why aren't I sleeping peacefully after thinking about this
Why... would that need explaining? Do you think life is all sunshine and rainbows, or that people don't appreciate…
It might have nothing to do with "not liking realism". Some people have real life experiences that make watching some themes too painful for them, which makes it impossible for them to enjoy it even if they like to watch other darkly realistic things. Not being too quick to judge goes both ways.
According to AvenueX the drama title has changed to 山花烂漫时 / Shān Huā Làn Màn Shí and will go live on Tencent on the 10th of September. The title means something like "the time of bright mountain flowers in full bloom"
As much as i wanted to SLAP that annoying girl with the selfie stick,i too wanna slap the hell out of Diew.Yes…
Lol jigsaw puzzle laying is not a spectator sport but it's definitely something an introvert can enjoy doing, alone or together, so I think it had a place in the drama showcasing Diew's personality. Just like reading books. It's not fun to watch but can be very enjoyable to do, if you lean that way. The whole point of this drama is to show that there's nothing wrong with being an introvert, and that forcing someone to constantly leave their comfort zone and making fun of them (or even criticising them) for being different to the norm might actually be more hurtful than helpful.
Tencent minidrama YouTube channel has started releasing it in compilations of 4 episodes, so far two compilations are out, but in the first one about 9 minutes are missing from the beginning of episode 4 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyLbHF3-UFDC0ZmndBBtD37NaWzfSUF02 (it says "highlight" but it's actually the episodes)
One of the characters has an artefact that enables him to travel into other people's dreams, where he can help them resolve problems (among other things). The main characters are university students, and it's very much about their lives and relationships, as well as about the supernatural aspects, and later on dealing with some more shady, threatening stuff.
The Myers-Briggs astrology bunkum is annoying, the poor turtle needs better living conditions, and dating without seeing each other's face is weird even for an introvert, but aside from that I'm enjoying it so far, despite the slow pace. I like that Got is very sensitive towards Diew's needs and tries to understand and accommodate him, such a green flag! But I also hope their personalities and interactions will be fleshed out a bit. Right now it feels like they have put two extreme stereotypes together for some kind of max effect, while in reality people are usually more nuanced and complex than that.
