I totally agree TaherRamzan! Serendipity's Embrance sounds soooooooo pretentious to me. The literal translations, Is it fate? Is it a coincidence?; get me contemplating and engaged. Serendipity's Embrace just makes me roll my eyes.

The simplistic and shockingly generalised representations of 'brain types' (e.g. hypersexualised) under the banner of neuroscience 🤔 Actually is just embarrassing. Did they do ANY research? Or are we meant to just accept all of this hokum pseudo-science as a comedic trope?

I totally respect your comments. The semantics of 'therapy' language are very much in a transition at the moment. It's no longer just in the domain of clinics - it's in everday lexicon. I can't tell you how many times I've heard 'intrusive thoughts' on youtube, let alone 'narcissist'. It's great that people are discussing the meanings of trauma. But translation is always one of the underlying complications here on MDL
