This hurts, and seeing LY so sad is like eating wasabi with red pepper, but I understand that QY always wanted to be free and to travel, but right now in the capital she can be only LY's concubine, and that's not what she dreamed about, fighting so hard for her life all this time. I think there are still certain things she need to discover about herself, her feelings to LY being one of them.

Look, QY's decision is not a big surprise to me, I had this feeling from the trailer, there was LY's phrase that he only wants her to live the life she desires. The only thing that makes it so wrong are all those words she told when LY was hurt. But there should be a reason writer placed these events in such order, I am gonna hope we get more explanation about her feelings in next episodes.

There are still a cheek kiss and a real kiss on the outside to come! And them wearing bracelets again. All that can't happen in just one last episode (damn, I hope). Trailers are a bit confusing, but I noticed that unlike many other cn dramas this one doesn't really spoil all the twists in trailers.

Watching QY and QX talk in episode 27, and she literally says everything we wrote here on this forum. As if she read is 😀 Such a relief to hear all that.

Me too, there are so many new details which I notice when rewatching.

Yeah, here accidental kiss also happened when she was drunk, but it was in the mid of the show, and in all other dramas he would then carry her to bed beautifully, but here he got scolded by her sis 😁 I also like how easy they became physical, they touch a lot, and editing doesn't make a big deal of it with slow motion or other effects, and that's so great.

I really liked the beginning, even the love triangle, but in later episodes it became such a mess. I feel like FL fell for SML a bit after he saved her several times, then fell for ML a bit because they were intellectual equals, then while being angry on ML she fell for SML again, but still enjoyed hugging with ML, and then she dumped SML when he was still badly injured because of her, like, wtf is this? I watched 20+ episodes and not sure I am gonna finish. The investigations are interesting though.

I was worried that she would be angry to find out he was behind the plan, but she just figured it out and wasn't angry at all. Love our girl!

It's a slow burn, or actually I don't know how to call this, maybe a hot slow burn 🤣, as every scene with main leads is so good. I like this kind of romance more than when characters end up being in love after several episodes where they were forced to bump into each other on every possible occasion and stare at each other in slow motion. Here they actually don't like each other at first, really, then they understand they were wrong, but events develop so fast, that there is no time to stop and reflect on feelings. We just watch two people who fit so well. They argue, they laugh, they conspire , and they are perfect together, we see that and we wait when both of them understand that 🥰

Finally watched 25-26, time flew like 20 min max. What an epic fight in 26 🤣 I laughed my ass out. But as for QM, I really wanted to give her a chance, but currently I don't want her to end up with QX, he deserves better.

There were some murders, including FL's relatives, but most episodes have a lot of humor. We expect some more angst closer to the ending though, as some nice supporting characters might be murdered. There are no extra women or concubines, ML was supposed to marry FL's sister, but this arrangement didn't last long, and that sister didn't want to marry him.

I like her too, she was sometimes going a bit further than I would probably go, but it makes me admire and envy her, because she would survive where I wouldn't. She feels more believable than most FLs, and even when she is wrong, I know she will feel bad about it or that situation will backfire at her, but she will fight through consequences :D

I think she is fine, but has some flaws. It's ok to have flaws, I have them too :D It's nice to finally see not one-dimensional characters. Her sister was sometimes right though, but not all the time)

I think ML and FL had more screen time and all their scenes were incomparably better, but unlike other dramas where main leads meet each other everywhere in quite unbelievable way and save each other all the time, here they actually have their own lives in the first part of the story, and sometimes it's SML who helps FL, not the ML. After about 20 episodes they will spend much more time together.

I think ML has Donghua vibe when he is in his teasing mode :D
