Same question! I watched several dramas with detective+romance plot, are there more?
I watched: Imperial Coroner, Under the Power, Miss Truth, Maiden Holmes...

Like... by killing most of them? :D I don't think that we have a full closure for QM and QX, but I am ok with this kind of open ending for them.

Come on, ending was not that bad. I am sure we didn't need that angsty twist, and YL should have been brought down, but all in all - it's watchable. I am smiling now, when I finished.
I do want a special episode though :D
And we should start a petition to cn drama world to stop making last minute happy end. All happy ends should last at least 20 minutes!

Could be simple but nice if only 1) ML would not look so dumb, 2) Li Heng wouldn't be so boring , 3) the nicest secondary character wouldn't die.

I think he liked her, and this is one of the reasons he agreed to cooperate with LY.

So many twists and turns in 31-32! I didn't see most of them coming. QY is so cool and smart ❤️

I was thinking about trailer to ep 34, thinking and thinking...and I have an idea, that QY will disappear and lose her memory after that arrow attack. Otherwise I can't explain, that she didn't go back to LY. He will find her because of books, and she will remember him when she sees his bracelet. Just a guess! Maybe I am totally wrong)

I finished 🙂 It could be enjoyable, as plot was quite solid, but there were too many irritating elements. FL's evil sister - why on earth would she fall in love with the ML who was never even nice to her? Weird romance between lead trio in the central part, too little time for main leads romance to bloom in the last part. ML was sometimes behaving ridiculous, sometimes too cruel. FL had sometimes absolutely empty look. SML barely talked. Those cliche tropes in the final part, when ML had to pretend he didn't care or even hurt FL - meh.

How do men have heart to leave their families and go study, travel, serve their country?.. It's what she always wanted. He understands)

QX is such a great friend, no matter what 😭 I always liked him and protected him here and he becomes a stronger person now, and proves I was right 😭

I like the plot even when they don't show main leads together, and I don't think there is any dragging, we are in "LY in trouble" phase now, and LY is SO GOOD WHEN HE IS SAD like everyone needs to see it, haha.
I am sure the ending is gonna be ok, the question is only if it's last minute HE or they give us some time to enjoy main leads happiness :D

Well, after episode 28 we had just two more today and there are only 4 more to go, so what's the sense of quitting at this point? Episodes are still great, FL is great, she wants to have adventures and become someone important, not just a wife and a mother, but maybe she will become mother much faster than she thinks, lol.
