I also don't like that kind of endings! I think most viewers are complaining about this, so hope it's gonna change soon. I also wish we could have more dramas where the couple gets together/married not in the very last episode, so that they can go through some last challenges together.

Lately I watched several detective/romance dramas and the male lead of "Under The Power" is fine, just a bit too authoritative in the beginning. They also have a slow burn romance, very nicely built, and exciting plot till about episode 40, then it became a bit less interesting, but I like the main couple anyway. The ending unfortunately is last minute HE as in most dramas :D

We are not sure, looks like QY will fake her death, some people say that they will be separated but she will print a novel and LY will find a clue there. As for the kid, it's not clear, if he is related to QY or creators are playing with us :D QY wears bracelet again in the scene with the kid.

Haha, thanks, I really enjoy this series, I kinda feel being in tune with the writers, I like that they play with us a bit :D and how they don't forget some important things, even when we start to think they forgot. And both main characters are unique.

She took care about her family, like, come on, how much more does she have to sacrifice?? They've changed a lot, and are ready to be responsible now, and she is not deeply connected to remaining Qiu members and very disappointed with QM. While staying in the capital, she can't be with them openly, and when she meets them - it's a risk to be exposed as QY again while YL is still around. Actually, while she is LY's concubine, every time she goes outside alone - it's a risk, so basically she has to stay in his mention or go out with guards. Did you notice she never went anywhere alone recently? That's... not what she dreamed about at all. And maybe they can think out something, but so far they haven't, and even if she suspects he has romantic feelings to her, she might not be aware of how deep they are, and after QX she already knows that when you like someone it's not always love. The theme of "benefactor" is also reoccurring in the drama, maybe she has some wrong assumptions about this too.

I think that QY can't come back from dead, and that's why she can't become his wife, at least not while they live in the capital, and he is the head of that corruption unit. I think they both will change identities for a happy ending somewhere in another place. Also, that's why creators are gonna torture LY with loosing his closest people, it's kind of a weak plot tool, but they are gonna remove everything what could hold him in this place.

The good thing is that we have two more episodes tomorrow. Imagine to wait for next week after 28th :D

I'd say they already had quite a bit of unnecessary death, but the problem is that we already love these characters a lot( As I wrote in another comment. looks like it was creators' idea to make both leads loose everyone they really care about (but each other).

I think creators had kind of a conceptual idea of both our main leads loosing everyone they cared about but each other, and that's... a bit cruel.
I really hope QY is gonna support LY the way he supported her all this time, and that they confess before the fucking last episode :D

Me too, really curious what's gonna happen next to her. Her bagging QY for help and QY's reaction was very satisfactory.

I find her not really evil, just very angry and desperate, and she turned that anger against her sister which is absolutely unfair. My opinion about her goes like this: /\/\/\/\ and after today's episodes I am again ready to give her a chance, but I am not sure drama has enough time to do it believably))

He saved her from bandits when they were young, she wanted to run away from home, but he told her to go back, educate herself, cause if she runs away now, being so young and not educated, she would not survive.
