Let me comment instead on the child actors. My goodness how good are they? They aren't just child actors; they are excellent actors and really delivered their roles.
You know how it is in some T or Cdramas where they MAKE the actors be cutesy or they look cute? But they behave like child actors role playing?
Not here though. Byeol and Seo Jun are 2 adorable 7 year olds. That's their characters. I don't know who the child behind the character. Then the lawyer's kid? I actually shed tears for him.
How old are these children? There is no awkwardness or a wrong expression. They don't do the dead fish eyes acting like you see some young actors or even old actors do. They literally embody the characters they are potraying.
I know one child actor from previous dramas who has graduated into adult roles. Like the actor in Castaway Diva; Moon Woo Jin.
The child actors are just that good and can hold their own with the adults.
The whole stoey is already fantastic as in the imaginary world. When you're in it- I am happy to follow that world's rules.
However what seemed to bug me is the ending room. Which modern world's gaming establishment can afford a huge skylight, tall ceilings and that huge room? Now that was literally the only jarring note in 40 episodes. That room is not realistic. No normal business can afford to either rent or build something like this in the middle of the city. And we all know how big China's cities are.
He is under a guest role. Isn't she a widow with 5 daughters? The dad can't be alive then can he? Besides the mother is shown in the poster without a male beside her.
Everything was good but I felt like the last hugging and kissing scene was a bit fast and felt like forced one!!
Well she has been portrayed as kind of stiff and repressed. It feels like the frustrated and full of longing male leads in all those countless dramas except its done by the actress.
Feels the same pace as those other drama scenes. The FL in those dramas usually all all shy and flustered after. I would crack up if they make the male lead do that. I hope not. I would have high hopes for 2 confident adults parting post kiss and go for a walk. I have zero hopes they would do anything risque.
I literally just came here to say that. Love how they swapped the gender roles in this drama. A workaholic female…
Its been bugging me they gave him a " shiljang/ department head " but I don't know if the staff or the subs keep referring to him as a secretary. He's a PA isn't he?
I must be the only one that thinks its all the old tropes repackaged but still predictable. I am not saying its…
I want predictable.
We've had so many unevenly matched couples dramas. Kdramas love opposites. Or a rookie idol actor who can't act. Or those noona romances. Or the overly clumsy male lead or female lead.
I just am happy to have 2 working adults who seem like caring individuals have a romance.
Full stop. Don't know how the sex or stay overnight will work since it will be obvious the daughter needs to stay overnight with Seo Jun. And the adults usually work late.
Its also a 12 episode run so hopefully more useless plots will be deleted.
A well done drama is a well done drama. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this.
Wdym nothing to watch? There’s so much out. What are you looking for?
Not to my taste. I want good acting from BOTH the main leads. Good writing and costume and not too much angst. Or stupidity. Even the web dramas which I sometimes watch- read some comments about the writing.
No procedural dramas. I don't even need much kissing- good chemistry. So currently- no drama fits the criteria except Love Scout.
The main couple gets a happy ending, nothing to worry about 😄
I read the spoilers about ep 39 and don't intend to bog myself down with characters I don't know. So going to peek at the happy ending minutes and that's it.
I stopped at ep 16 and now don't intend to continue. I read the spoilers of everything except what happened to the main couple. There were no comments about it and I don't know why. Lol. Why guys?
Can someone point me to which minute to watch the main couple on ep 40? Thanks. That's all I plan to do.
I'm waiting for the good subs for Flourished peony and now I don't have a single currently airing drama to watch on Cdramas.
I am currently rewatching The Double for lack of any other choices. This drama is just as good on rewatching.

They must have filmed around springtime last year. I wished I would run into drama filming when I visit but never do.
