Was the story great? Well it could have been, it came from great source, not sure that the scriptwriter knew what they were doing by adding unnecessary stories and characters. I would definitely watch another drama with Dylan Wang and Bai Lu, provided they are given a better script.

Did I hate the drama? No, the acting saved it. I most likely would have dropped it if it had of been acted by different actors. This is by no means the worst rom-com I have ever watched. I at least made it to the end and didn't drop this one.

There were definitely a lot of cute moments, but the story suffered from bloatedness, to much dragging, and a lot of inconsistencies with the characters.

Will I watch again? Meh, maybe, but will definitely FF through a lot of unnecessary scenes and also if I ever get sick of re watching LLTG (which I don't ever see that happening).

I am glad to find there is someone else who enjoyed Miss the Dragon. I really loved his chemistry with Bambi Zhu. It was hard for me to get past Bambi playing a protagonist after playing one of the biggest antagonist in TMOPB. But between Miss the Dragon and Cute Programmer she made me enjoy watching her again.

a lot of the auto subs had me rolling. It is nice to know calligraphy and banquet will be getting married.

I think today I was actually more upset with the female lead than I have ever been. I was sad when she broke down in her office, but omg she was stupid today. She botched the opportunity to talk to him in his office, she misunderstood his words when he was talking to the press, she went out with YY. I sometimes wonder if she was ever in love with him. I am really trying to feel for her but she makes it so hard sometimes. I am really getting a bit peeved with this screenwriter.

Agree, as much as I am enjoying this drama, even though the writing is not the best. I am mainly staying with it because of Bai Lu, Dylan Wang, and Miles Wei. If they had casted non high traffic artists in the main roles, I doubt I would have watched this or kept watching it at the very least.

Right!?! or could she have said, can we talk about work first and then let's have dinner and/or discuss us after work? Just something instead of just walking away. Come one, for some one who is supposedly "in love" and your not even trying. I mean look at Shi Yue, did she give up even though Yu You told her he wasn't interested, NO!

Why and where was the story behind them going to buy a suitcase? Where did that come from?

Why is she even giving YY any time, she knows he wants to pursue her, but she doesn't like him like that and has told him, all she is doing is encouraging him?

And where on earth did this girl Fei Fei crop up from? Seriously did we need another reason for even more miscommunication between the main leads. I know the writer has done a lot (emphasis on a lot) of really dumb moves on this story between our leads, but what the hell bringing another random person into the story we may not even see again.

I agree. But, I also think this drama should have maybe been about 24 episodes. There are a few to many unnecessary characters and a few to long storylines happening. Although, overall I am still enjoying it, it could be better for sure.

Wait til it finishes airing then you can fast forward through all the crap and then it will be a great drama to watch. Haha 😄

From what I have heard, they have added quite a few unnecessary characters that weren't in the novel. And like today, where the hell.did that Feifei come from, like so random.out of blue, let's throw in another random character to cause miscommunication.

I did like the part with Shi Yue and Yu You. They were cute today. I dont understand why Shu Yi went out with Yi Yang again though, that whole situation is aggravating the hell out of me.

Second of all, if you dropped this at episode 4, why the hell are you back here bashing it when it is at episode 30?

I am so tired and irritated with all these people who keep coming here amd bashing this drama after they have dropped it a long time ago. It is one thing for the people who are still invested in it and watching it, as their thoughts (whether negative or positive) are more credible.

Edit: I want to add, I realize everyone starts dramas at different times, so even though the drama is at episode 30, others may not be. I get it, but don't base your own opinion of a drama on what one reviewer has said, use your own words. IMO, if you don't like a drama, just say this wasn't for me and move on. There are others who are actually invested and/or still enjoying it.

Agree! I would stop watching and stop commenting, but whatever that is just me. I am enjoying it too. It is so cliché. It is a C Drama Rom-Com, can't really go into it expecting an in depth script especially when I hear from novel readers it has deviated from the source and added characters.

We are completely of the same thought. Everyone is bashing Shu Yi, but are not looking at the overall picture. He is the one who refused to get an explanation from her first. And honestly, how could he not tell that she really did fall for him. It was kind of obvious to everyone!! I think if she hadn't listened to the advice of her friend in the beginning then she would have told him a long time ago and we wouldn't be in this mess. We would be seeing a whole bunch of sweetness right now.

I am glad someone else caught that. It was indeed very distracting. I kept wanting to reach through the screen and pull that fur out of her mouth. And why did the camera keep panning in on it as well? Here let's watch Bai Lu cry and eat fur.

Or go to Shi Yan herself and play the message Shu Yi sent to her.

I am hoping with more international platforms that the C Drama fans will start calming down. I can't believe how crazy they get. I am glad that a lot of Asian Dramas are becoming more internationally known so that these artists don't have to rely on just their own country for ratings and what not. For example, I have heard that a drama of Zhang Zhe Han's (who is black listed in China) will be airing soon (December I think) on a Japanese network. So I think these artists will have more range and a bigger chance to be known internationally. Not only that international fans enjoy a lot of dramas that maybe don't get the same recognition it would mainland or in their own country.
