Liu Yu Ning is everywhere singing OST's, but i never watched any of his dramas, The Long Ballad is in my list…
Me too, but I didn't pay much attention to the OSTs until recently. Particularly from Hidden Love, ZLS's songs were amazing. I mean I always liked the OSTs but I never really thought about them or paid that much attention and then when I started watching this and doing more research on Liu Yu Ning, and looked up his other dramas and then saw how much music he actually does and I am so impressed and now scouring (or rather listening and looking for) all his music lol.
I wish more people would watch this. It is definitely a lot more interesting than some of the dramas airing right now. The story is very good and the acting is even better.
If you have watched the K Drama Vincenzo, what he did to the antagonist at the end, imo, was the best ending ever…
So for the main antagonist he uses what the russian mafia calls "the spear of atonement" he tied the bad guy to a chair with a drill set up facing him and every 5 minutes the drill goes 5mm it is directed straight for his lung after 12 hrs the drill will finally pierce his lung and he will die.. watching it is way worse than writing it out....
another antagonist (the main one's second in command so to speak) he superglued/glued/plastered her barefeet to the ground and glued her to a chair, then used a fire sprinkler above her to douse her with gasoline, then turned on a record player, letting music play in the background, while he threw a lighter at her.
it was all pretty brutal, but their deaths were deserved....
I think the most critical I have is that these people keep blaming the wife for her husband's debts which she had no knowledge of and demanding she pay them back. I hate that part of the story.
This is not my usual drama or interest, but I am really liking this drama so far. A lot of the actors are not…
So, it aggravates me that they are threatening and making the wife pay for her husband's debts, how is that even legal especially since she isn't the one who signed the IOUs? I don't get it, it frustrates me. Also, what is the deal with the redhead (Yuan Yuan, I think it is) and her boyfriend, he seems to be owed money from the FL's husband as well? It is weird she would buy her car if FL's husband owed her boyfriend money. I do find the creditors on the funny side though, their exaggerations make this a bit more interesting. Anyone have any idea what really happened with her husband?
This is not my usual drama or interest, but I am really liking this drama so far. A lot of the actors are not ones I usually follow, but they are doing quite well. I mainly started this for LYN, but I am enjoying all of them. I am only on episode 2 and I have a few things that bug me, in the spoiler below...
Ma Si Chun is such an under rated actress, I wish more project from her. My ideal pairing would be Hu Ge and Ma…
I agree. I would love to see that pairing. I absolutely loved Ma Si Chun with Bai Jing Ting in You Are My Hero and also in Love Me if You Dare with Wallace Huo. She is such a fantastic actress.
I definitely like your Seven Tan choice. I could see that pairing work very well.
I think Dilraba does well with almost anyone she is paired with, but yes I would like to see her with Li Xuan as well.
Zhao LuSi also does well with any pairing. I haven't heard much or seen anything about Liu Hao Ran before, so I will have to check out some of his dramas. I want to see her with Wang Yibo, Xu Kai (I know she did a movie with him, but they weren't the final pairing and it was a SE), and/or Liu Yu Ning again ( I know they were a pairing in The Long Ballad, but I want to see them Main Lead Couple in their own drama).
The Yang Yang and Ni Ni pairing would be interesting. I like watching Ni Ni she just commands the screen in what ever she is in, YY does as well, so two strong presences might make for an interesting drama.
Oh and I would absolutely love a Bai Jing Tin and Bai Lu pairing, that would probably be an ultimate must watch drama.
I know when I post it will sometimes tell me "not found" or "error", so I click again. But I know when it does that, that there will most likely be a double post so I go back and delete the other post. A lot of people just leave them.
With Dilraba's popularity, I would've hoped her management would be more selective with her projects by this point👀…
I am so glad someone else pointed out the voice dub. I think whoever did the dubbing did a huge disservice to Dilraba. It just doesn't match or go along with her at all. Also, you can tell so much that it is dubbed and I like watching dramas where even though they are dubbed you almost can't tell. I may have to either drop this or watch later after I see a lot more reviews and see if it gets any better, because the biggest issue for me is the bad dubbing imo.
Which drama? Because HL is just finished airing yesterday
Yeah I get that. I was a bit confused as well. I was just assuming. I could understand with a TV series, but I get your point with it being an online drama, now that I think about it. They have several dramas airing at once and what does it hurt to air more than one episode as they normally do with other series.
I am going to have to wait til the subs get better. I believe they wanted to rush it out, since HL technically finished airing yesterday. So they threw up a drama everyone has been waiting for with autotranslated subs. The drama itself does look interesting. I am going to wait til the subs get better, hopefully soon before I restart this.
