Someone down here is so weird. Writing a comment(more like a long rant that makes no sense + fan essay) but tell…
that weirded me out too. I mean, it would have been okay to me if there's a cast member that has a dark history (i.e. sex crime) that someone would comment about not watching the show because of that cast member. I can respect that. But everything that person listed in a long long essay submission for "i won't watch this because __" felt very subjective and overly critical of something one hasn't watched.

For me, you have the right to have your own opinion but that doesn't mean you should say it in public because putting it out there means people have a right to have an opinion on your opinion and if they respond then it's coz you put it out there.

7.6? Is it that bad?
Nah. Don't bother with ratings when a show is just starting. You'll always get weird ratings like that. People would judge it for not-their-cup-of-tea or it-airs-same-time-as-my-fave-actor-drama-so-i-dont-like-it but still rate it nonetheless. Others maybe judging it for the bad subs available on piracy sites.

It's a light workplace romcom with an arrogant boss and a sunnier rookie employee with some twist of cohabitation trope. It's meant to be fun and entertaining. So far, it manages that.

The ending is stupid ,, did she really go back to the past so she can live her husband's passing for the second…
Only her Joseon husband died quietly and peacefully due to a bad heart, not murdered by his stepmother. That is a big difference. Before time travel, she grieved because she kinda liked this guy she got married to but suddenly the husband was dead. She was not prepared for his death. After time travel, they got to spend a good time together as friends and he died peacefully (although sad because of unrequited love) because of his bad heart. She was prepared for his death - so she really didn't suffer a second time.

I didn't like the going back to the past part,, it was confusing, hurtful, and not that important what happened…
I don't think you watched it as well as you should have. "what happened then happened again but she got justice for her dead husband" - well her husband is not dead, TaeHa faked his death to reveal the evil plan. She fixed the path of the twisted knots of fate. Joseon-TaeHa had a weak heart, he was really going to die unlike Seoul-TaeHa who had a pacemaker surgery earlier on to prolong his life.
The story was about unraveling the knotted fates and fixing it back in the past so that the present would be less entangled.

yeonwoo was so cold to the past Kang Taeha. I know it wrong to give him hope cause the KTH she loved is not him…
But it's hard on her. She loves the Seoul-TaeHa and even though she knows it's a reincarnated Joseon-TaeHa, the TaeHa with her in Joseon is still not the TaeHa that she loves. It's sad but at the same time it makes us want them to reunite in the present time even more.

nah... not the 2 min happy ending. I’m still at ep 9, but now I don’t even want to finish. I just hate these…
Don't worry. Even though the HE happens at the tail-end, there's a lot of fluff before she goes back to her time. It doesn't feel like "we got robbed of their time after reuniting" kind of short HE.

I’m so disappointed. There’s no news at all.
Sometimes Netflix adds when all episodes are aired 🤞🤞

I didn't realize this came out already. Still no English subs?
God I hope Netflix gets this. It's Wong Kar Wai.

is Cheng Yao/FL a lawyer...lawyer right? 🤦‍♀️
Unfortunately her internship landed her in a company that made her work like a mere secretary who's supposed to entertain male clients, so she's a rookie lawyer with no good work training.

Title A Journey to Love Spoiler
A lot of people are so mad at the sad ending and even calling this "Journey to Death" even though the English title was a poor rendition of the Chinese title.

I can understand that we would have loved for it to have a happily ever after ending because we fell in love with the characters with how well they were written and fleshed out by the cast, but we can't dictate the ending. The songs, the opening scenes, the foreshadowing all pointed to tragic ending - we just didn't want to accept it and waited for something to twist it to HEA.

BUT THIS WAS NOT A BAD ENDING. They died heroically protecting what they loved and held dear in their hearts. It wasn't "oh writer just wanted to kill off the core cast members". Their deaths were done beautifully in a way that tore at us.

Deaths during war happens. At least they were heroes and not innocents like what's happening in current wars around the world these days. I hope they vitriol you want to send the writer is the same energy you send to those in power enabling the wars happening now.

I know what Viu is. I watch on Viu Philippines. But their schedule is not Fri/Sun so I'm asking which country announced this.

I assume most of the viewers who are watching are not expecting this series to be ground-breaking and complex,…
THIS.

I don't get those comments as well. The synopsis itself reads cliche and tropey romcom. It's still entertaining when done right. Sometimes we need to just chill and be entertained with what we're watching.

So far, first 2 episodes were fun and nice and both leads fit their roles. No unnecessary skin smoothing filters to mess up the color grading.
