We're back to M-F for good subs https://mydramalist.com/photos/d0vreA_3
given how others commented negatively with some scenes and when i saw them with the good english subs, it wasn't as bad as they made it out to be... i think the good subs is really better experience.
Still no subs? I miss the days of fan subbing. I'm sure if this was released during those days, a fansubbing group would've picked this up. Now all I can do is wait...
hmm "only for love" or this one? Which one to start?
I'm only 11 eps in with this one, finished OFL. Both have - Tsundere ML (tbh I feel that CXX has more variety of expressions here than WHD on OFL; but could be more a directing issue than character issue) - Career woman FL (OFL FL is supposedly more mature, but MB FL is a rookie - so in terms of naive actions, I'm more forgiving with MB FL) - Workplace setting (OFL CP works at different offices, MB CP works under boss-employee relationship) - Plot (OFL plot felt like it was moving thru molasses versus MB)
So far, for me MB is better light workplace drama that's very typical while OFL's strength was having Bailu and Wang Hedi. Also was able to watch OFL quickly while MB is a 1 episode daily torture.
Drop ir if you don't like it. I do it all the time. The female lead doesn't screech thank god. Its not the best…
Given the slow episode drops from legal sites with good subs, this is just that chill watch to enjoy with no huge expectations from me. I like it that way. I need to chill after work.
I find that nowadays most dramas has happy endings. Sometimes its even feels like if the writters are trying to…
What I find irritating is when it's an adaptation and they change the original HE to a SE or OE (like TROP - i carry a grudge with that ending lol). But with AJTL being an original work, I find the tragic ending acceptable.
Hahaha I loved it! But also if they did it this way, I'd feel like it was a forced HE like it suddenly became…
The moment they revealed that Beipan tunnel at He county, that part of the story would unfold eventually.
Qian Zhao's speech about how the other LDT members died ironic deaths before lead to his own ironic death, saving the man he wanted to kill. But for the sake of a bigger picture and his love for his country and its people. Sun Lang's death was heroic when he was the main group with the least screen time and lines. Yet it was his support that lead to them winning that battle. Yuan Lu, the boy who was not allowed to run and be tired, ran to his death. He wanted to die as a hero doing something big. He got his wish. Shi San died saving and protecting the woman he loved despite all his misgivings at falling in love. NYZ died to make sure that LTG lived. He always considered him his step-disciple and also knew that a power vacuum would cause more harm than good. RRY died after her final mission because the future she wanted was no longer possible and she would rather die than have that. "In this world, there is only one RRY. In this world, there is only one NYZ."
I was hurt by their deaths. But I do not feel they were forced. The writing from the start led up to it.
Someone down here is so weird. Writing a comment(more like a long rant that makes no sense + fan essay) but tell…
that weirded me out too. I mean, it would have been okay to me if there's a cast member that has a dark history (i.e. sex crime) that someone would comment about not watching the show because of that cast member. I can respect that. But everything that person listed in a long long essay submission for "i won't watch this because __" felt very subjective and overly critical of something one hasn't watched.
For me, you have the right to have your own opinion but that doesn't mean you should say it in public because putting it out there means people have a right to have an opinion on your opinion and if they respond then it's coz you put it out there.
Nah. Don't bother with ratings when a show is just starting. You'll always get weird ratings like that. People would judge it for not-their-cup-of-tea or it-airs-same-time-as-my-fave-actor-drama-so-i-dont-like-it but still rate it nonetheless. Others maybe judging it for the bad subs available on piracy sites.
It's a light workplace romcom with an arrogant boss and a sunnier rookie employee with some twist of cohabitation trope. It's meant to be fun and entertaining. So far, it manages that.
The ending is stupid ,, did she really go back to the past so she can live her husband's passing for the second…
Only her Joseon husband died quietly and peacefully due to a bad heart, not murdered by his stepmother. That is a big difference. Before time travel, she grieved because she kinda liked this guy she got married to but suddenly the husband was dead. She was not prepared for his death. After time travel, they got to spend a good time together as friends and he died peacefully (although sad because of unrequited love) because of his bad heart. She was prepared for his death - so she really didn't suffer a second time.
I didn't like the going back to the past part,, it was confusing, hurtful, and not that important what happened…
I don't think you watched it as well as you should have. "what happened then happened again but she got justice for her dead husband" - well her husband is not dead, TaeHa faked his death to reveal the evil plan. She fixed the path of the twisted knots of fate. Joseon-TaeHa had a weak heart, he was really going to die unlike Seoul-TaeHa who had a pacemaker surgery earlier on to prolong his life. The story was about unraveling the knotted fates and fixing it back in the past so that the present would be less entangled.
yeonwoo was so cold to the past Kang Taeha. I know it wrong to give him hope cause the KTH she loved is not him…
But it's hard on her. She loves the Seoul-TaeHa and even though she knows it's a reincarnated Joseon-TaeHa, the TaeHa with her in Joseon is still not the TaeHa that she loves. It's sad but at the same time it makes us want them to reunite in the present time even more.
nah... not the 2 min happy ending. I’m still at ep 9, but now I don’t even want to finish. I just hate these…
Don't worry. Even though the HE happens at the tail-end, there's a lot of fluff before she goes back to her time. It doesn't feel like "we got robbed of their time after reuniting" kind of short HE.
