One thing I love about YT and QK is they always let these stupid rulers know that they are wrong. QK was so right to tell the Void Tyrant that all these things are his fault because it is! If you just made up your mind and stated clearly that Wudai would be crown prince no matter what and cut off the void empress power, things would not be so bad, especially because Wudai seems like he would be a good crown prince/fair and straightforward.
