I was rewatching ep32 today … Liu Xue Yi is really just too good. That scene at around 8.00 when he goes from half smiling to crying to sobbing 🥹
And the wedding night scene, so raw, perfect acting by both of them.

The story sounds interesting, I hope the drama adaptation is good!

What is treading in the snow?

I really wish they had written how Mei Lin got to know the identity of the Shadow Master differently. And I really wish the story had taken a different path from then onward. But I love many things about this drama and I enjoy rewatching it.

It’s not mainly because of the ending, but what comes before that. In fact many people who complained about the drama said the ending was well done and very poetic.
I loved the first 19 episodes so much so that I was all the more angry or disappointed that they didn’t show me what I wanted to see then.

Ha I knew it was Bian Jiang‘s voice! I just looked it up. I love voice actor Bian Jiang, he’s the best (together with Zhang Jie), but when I hear his voice I see Ren Jialun‘s face because he’s dubbed him in his most important roles. And for Liu Xueyi‘s face I definitely prefer his own voice. He has such a beautiful voice, I could listen to his interviews all day.
