Same here, I think he is portraying his character really well! I would not want to see anyone else in this role.

That’s not due to his acting but due to how the character is written and how the director wants the actors to portray it. I really like many aspects of this drama but I wish they had written the guixu arc a bit differently.

I just wanted to say „same here“ and then I remembered „One and Only“! That one was phenomenal acting on both leads part. There RJL perfected the „bottomless longing“ imo.

Same here. In general I did prefer their dynamics in the mortal world.

I‘m not sure I‘m liking the dynamics between He Simu and Duan Xu in ep16, but I love the fact that Simu is wavering and Dilraba does a great job portraying that!

Well he wasn’t a red flag, but also not one of those modern ML where the FL can trample all over them just to have a „strong“ Fl.
But for what he did.. he rage baited FL a lot, he acted non-caring towards her but in the end always helped her, he liked invading her space against a wall, he made the decisions, he deliberately made her jealous .. all those things are not considered green flag. But then he’s also caring and warm-hearted. I found his character really interesting.
What are your favourite not so green flag MLs?

Imo nothing beats his performance in Lighter & Princess. I know it was controversial because the character was not a green green flag but his acting was stellar. He was also wonderful in Love Story in the 1970s.
