I agree with you. Love him as snake and am disappointed with his human form. The actor did fine in Love of Nirvana because there he basically just had to maintain a calm mini smile in all episodes, but here he is completely miscast.

I thought it was first and foremost what also Google wrote: „the process of performing memorized dialogue using your voice and body to convey a character's emotions, intentions, and personality within a given scene“ 🤷‍♀️
Maybe in Chinese drama industry it refers purely to accent.

Line delivery has nothing to do with accent but it means that his voice acting would be lacking. Do the Chinese fans actually say line delivery or accent?

I know what slowburn means and I enjoy dramas with slowburn romance. Just not in the Double.

I didn’t like the Double. It was so overdone, so theatrical imo. And all the build up to the romance which then never delivered. But it was a well-written story. Definitely better than here.

Which dramas did you think were good in the last 2 years?

I very much enjoyed Cheng Lei’s performance in Legend of the Female General so I’d like to try this one as well, but from the trailer I don’t like how the FL seems to be written. Looks like she’ll trample over the ML. Hopefully it turns out to be different.

How on earth can they say that? CL is a lead actor - he has the screen presence, the looks, the micro expressions etc - while Zhang Kangle is lacking in all these fields.
