I didn't feel like the the cropped length did much to change the story - halfway in we already knew the results…
Just the medical side of it could have made this a lasting series. Dr Lee Yeong Oh could have become the Korean Dr. House with medical miracles every episode!

People who keep wishing Earth and Jutjang to be a couple, have you considered if Earth feels the same way as Jutjang…
If either get together it would be the end.
So far it is quite interesting, exploring so many other dynamics in the family.
For instance Stephan's coming out as seen from Jutjang's perspective and the reaction of his parents publicly and privately.
So far they are doing quite a good job at being interesting. I say leave it alone for now.
