The sentence for a DUI is not revocation of your driver's license for a period of time. It is the end of your career and cancellation of you if you are a public figure, and death from societal ostracization. Such a pleasant nation that constantly focuses on drinking culture yet doesn't know how to properly handle the issues that come from promoting drinking as your social lubricant, social pecking order and/or mechanism to deal with stress. But you do you South Korea.
Also it baffles me that not once did anyone suggest to the FL that she could just adopt a kid and become a mom…
Hmmm... well that's not the plot, is it? 1) The point at the beginning is she was pregnant with the child of a man from a traditional Korean family that expects to carry on their bloodline, like royalty does. That's why John was on the outs. He was illegitimate. You need a child from the bloodline of the male of a married couple. Maybe it would be a different story if he wasn't from a "traditional family".
2) Tell me you don't understand "menopause". What does that mean actually? It means you have NO EGGS. She didn't pre-save her eggs now did she? So basically, this dude could get a surrogate to give him any kid he wanted. They have the money. But, again, it's a traditional family. That's not a child from the bloodline of the male of a MARRIED couple.
3) She wasn't in a relationship where she could think that far. I'm sure as she gets older, she'll probably give those things a thought. But that isn't part of THIS story. This story is about Hae Jo and coming to grips with the reality of death.
DAMN!!! Great work done by all the actors, amazing acting and very loveable characters (even John's😂) but Woo…
Because that's not the storyline and she doesn't simply want to have a kid to have a kid. With Eo Heung, he comes from a traditional family that expects to follow traditional bloodlines, as in son from married couple. That's why John was on the outs. He was illegitimate. She wasn't with Hae Jo when she found out but he broke up with her over wanting to have kids because he had childhood trauma that made him not want kids. He let her go, like so many other times, because he wanted her to have the life she wanted, which included getting married & having kids.. not staying with him and going without. She never was in a relationship where she COULD think about adopting. By the time she was back with Hae Jo she was more involved in the craziness surrounding him to think that far.
Yeah. Now that Hong Kong is under the CCP, you'll never know when anything will really be released. Propaganda and control what your people see, read, say & think is the way they keep folks from challenging the politburo and communism.
Prosecuting in the court of public opinion never goes over well with me. What you wanted to say has already been said. If there are crimes, take them to the police and courts. Go the proper route. If you can't get justice there, petition the Blue House like any other normal human being.
This cancel culture thing where they're legit trying to make this guy kill himself along with their daughter for some godforsaken reason, or exile him to another country because he'll never be able to dawn his face anywhere after this is way over-the-top. What exactly are you looking for that you cannot get by just keeping your mouth shut and doing it the legal way, through the courts?
Yoo Ah In, Kim So Hyun, IU.... Don't you just love the netizens chewing up young talent and spitting them tf out? You can be bad, you can be good, you can be just minding your own business.... you can hurt yourself, you can hurt someone else it's all the same.... There's no distinction... Just the striving to reach # 1 in the suicide genre.
My interest in South Korean entertainment on any level is finally waning. It took me 20 years, but I'm finally here.
Just dropping this here:https://www.koreaboo.com/news/sullis-brother-seemingly-blames-iu-death/How sinister this…
Oh man. Here we go. Netizens and family members won't be happy until Kim So Hyun and now IU commit suicide along with the rest of them. I mean, they must all be furious they couldn't get to SUGA since he was merely riding a scooter not a car.
We should just draw up a list of mid-30s, successful, rich South Korea celebrities and go down it one by one until we can have just one mass funeral tribute to congratulate all their warrior typing skills. We can set up sleuthing awards for all those faceless warriors who act as if they went to CSI school and were trained in forensic plus have super sensory perception and some wuxui magic powers to omnipresent knowing everything about everyone. Give them credit for all their hard fought work.
I for one cannot wait until the list is done and all have taken the charcoal nap so there will be no more lives for them to destroy, no more entertainment for them to watch, so they can start looking into the mirror, get a real job, get a real purpose, get out from mom and dad's wings, buy their own home, have their own families.... and suffer just like those they attacked.
Wtf did that intro just show the entire storyline? I guess I don't gotta watch it since I know every twist and…
How can you have watched as many Chinese dramas as you have and not known that this is what happens in both the intro and outro in 90% of their dramas? I must admit, this drama is much more overt, in that, there's basically background music while the leads tell you the entire plot. But if you've watched other Chinese dramas, you know if you don't want any spoilers you simply forward through the first 1:30 to 2:30 minutes of the beginning to avoid it. When I heard 1 sentence at the start I forwarded it so as not to get those spoilers.
My basic format to watching Chinese dramas is start the first episode at forward to where the screen shows "Episode 1", then note what the time the drama starts at this point. In future episodes, I simply start them and forward to that time stamp. This way, I never see any spoilers I don't want to see.
I'm confused. Did these 2 date and no one was aware of it, including her and his parents, just the agency, for…
BTW, the K-netizen cancel culture is on another level and sickening. A bunch of phony social justice warriors who were ALSO out there badmouthing Sae Ron for her DUI that totaled her burgeoning career. Don't act like you holier than thou fucks are any better or less guilty...
Because you ALWAYS go after innocent people.... this is just the tip of the iceberg!!!
"..Other actors revolving around Kim Soo Hyun have started receiving hate as well.
According to Pinkvilla, Jung Hae In and Im Si Wan worked with the disgraced actor in the Good Day show. Many of the K-drama fans have been questioning the aforementioned actors of following Kim Soo Hyun on social media.
Additionally, not only have they been requesting to cut ties with the controversial actor, but also requested to not behave like him. Despite being not directly involved in the tragic scandal, the public images of the actors have been harmed.."
I'm confused. Did these 2 date and no one was aware of it, including her and his parents, just the agency, for all this time? They only found out after she committed suicide? Where were all their friends & family members when all this was going on? On both sides, these people should know the truth.
It was clear to me that she did the deed in such a way to cause maximum harm to KSH. I knew then that it was for a specific reason. Whether all the other stuff is true or false, I couldn't tell one way or the other. Again, if these 2 were together and no one but his agency knew, because he runs it, there's a bigger problem going on. How do you not know what's going on with your friends and family to this point. What a sad messed up society they're dealing with her.
how do you know they did nothing to help mabye some of them did everyting they had to make her feel better. and…
Her agency dropped her over the DUI. She attempted to make a comeback but controversy came up with Kim Soo Hyun whose cousin is the person that started that agency. She happened to be one of the first talents to sign with them. It just so happens that the date of her death is Kim Soo Hyun's birthday.
She thrown away when she made a mistake. Spat at for daring to show she had a connection with Kim Soo Hyun. Wasn't able to get her career back. You think it's a coincidence regarding the date of her death? No! It was a statement... And celebrities coming around after the fact is for "looks" not real sympathy.
I didn't have any idea about this drama., when I put it on my "PTW" list... but after reading this:
"...Episode 2 is even more embarrassing. Rather than character explanations or build-ups for the narrative, it was full of stories about copulation, sperm, and eggs.
In particular, the scene of fruit flies mating for 20 minutes in the space station is shown in close-up. There is also a line that says, “The male finally started licking the female’s asshole. It’s a sign that he’s going to have sex. It lasts longer than a human.”
In addition, there is a scene of a daughter-in-law trying to make her husband’s sperm plump again, and a male rat that came to the space station to impregnate a female..."
Like WTF? 🤣😆🤣😂😖 I mean, I've watched the whole 50 Shades of Grey series. I'm no prude. But yeah, I'm not into watching sexual slapstick drama that doesn't make sense. I think I'll pass on this one. LOL!
how miserable your life must be for you to spew such hate
They're just anti-drug and think that a drug user or addict should never be redeemed and suffer the death penalty or at a minimum be shunned and banished from society for life. It's a politic opinion of their's and everything else that's being sad is an extension of that political view.
he was never all that to begin with. He can't sing, he can't rap, he can't act and he has a beer keg gut. idk…
I'll just point out to everyone that this is this person's personal opinion. Obviously, to those that buy and listen to his music, they have a different view.
Me personally, I think "Zutter" is one of GD&T.O.P's best song. I have it on my playlist rotation for almost a decade now. For clarification regarding this 1 person's opinion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8t8A8E_Tqc Zutter's MV has 85 million views on YT worldwide with 1M likes. So, it's 1M:1 ratio of who enjoys T.O.P.'s rapping and who doesn't. YT doesn't have a hold on nepotism. Any content creator can post and anyone can watch, comment, dislike or like. There's your perspective. Might want to look at some of the more recent comments on the video of international fans who loved his acting and well as his rapping. Again, nepotism in South Korea doesn't apply to the rest of the world. International fans can choose what they like without SK influence... yet, here we are....
I only care about his acting when it's something I watch with him in it. I didn't watch any of the Squid Game content so I couldn't say. But anything I've watched where he was in it, he did just as good as a lot of IDOLs who get acting gigs. Nothing special, but not horrible to the point I thought he shouldn't have gotten the part.
Where in the article said he is highly involved in the planning of their bed scene?
He gave several interviews that day. It was in the Chosun Sports article that I read. He stated that he was heavily involved in the tone & feel of that bed scene and guided his co-star. You can see a lot of it in the bts stuff as well.
Ahh... so he was highly involved in the planning of their bed scene. Interesting.
What I find cute is that it seems he's come out on several places after the awards were announced and finale has been well received to put a damper on the ongoing "relationship" rumors which inevitably happen whenever a Korean drama couple give good romance skinship. Mainly because of how Korean drama skinship is more often feeling forced or awkward. But his saying, "...it's not up to me alone..." was an interesting way to put it. Especially since it seems she's still dating that athlete.
I wonder his thoughts on this and why he'd likely back off doing more romantic dramas going forward. The pressure must be hard.... especially when things go as well as it did for this drama internationally.
I know there are bigger issues with ep 12, but I kinda don't know how to feel about PDJ, a man who pushed and…
But he was. He served his time and she visited him often. She didn't want him prosecuted as well as the butler, so they got reduced sentences with her victim impact statements. She had no animosity towards him and knew that they worked well together. He was duped and mislead. His story is resolved so he has no more reason for revenge.

I can barely be bothered to show up anymore.
