Zhou Zhou's fans made a lot of fuss about a needle in his knee pad which he found there and which didn't hurt him after all, I understand their demand for apology but that was an accident and it's sth between ZZ and the producers. The incident didn't affect him during the finals.
In fact, there was another act of discrimination in the finals and whenever I comment on it on SMG channel, my post "disappears"... The show put 2 finalists at disadvantage holding the finals exactly at the same time as another event in Shanghai which was scheduled earlier: on Sept 15th after 18 p.m. Allen Ren and Hou Ming Hao participated in SPL basketball game with many celebrities present including American star players. The live recording of the dance show started only few hours later. I don't know about Allen, but Neo had to be careful on the field not to get injured, he was back to the studio late in the evening, went straight to recording around or soon after midnight, and he ended up with a cold in the morning.
Some unfair rules, bad editing, manipulated grouping & matching, odd number of members in ep7 which caused uneven chances (ep 5 & 6 had 3 pairs competing for 3 seats so everyone had the chance, but in ep7 there was 1 contestant more), an extra episode 8 for some members only (which meant 2 dances more for them, those who got "seats" skipped straight to semi-final ep 9-10), vanishing members (but not eliminated) with no word of explanation from the show....
Nevertheless I rated the show high, it's worth watching fot the people there. Because of the efforts and hard work of all participants, the show is filled with amazing performances and leaves good memories of every member.

there is one big difference: "Dancing with the Stars" was like a full-time job for celebrities, they practised for the whole week between next episodes the fact they were fully engaged ensured they were available for the whole show during its airing until they got eliminated in "Shake It Up" celebrities have only 1-2 days to prepare a dance and record live performance (first episodes) and only 3 days starting from episode 8 (but with 2 dances to prepare within that time: solo and group dance) apart from that actors have their own schedules and activities like working & filming in the meantime probably this is an explanation why so many contestants went MIA: Jerry Yan, Jiro Wang, Deng Lun, and lately Jane Zhang (who got selected by Neo to be in semi-final but she isn't there either in ep.9 or ep.10) they just cannot predict during recording who will be present there in the future or withdraw because of a schedule or injury/sickness, which in the end creates chaos for the audience
the other difference is that in "DWTS" celebrities were paired with professional dancers arbitrary (or according to popularity) and in "SHIU" celebrities had to battle for their partners (that was the fist stage of the competition)
the 3rd difference is that rules changes according to the phase, so it's not boring like "DWTS" where every episode is a copy of the previous one
the 4th difference is that in "DWTS" we had to listen to boring monologues by the jury in "SHIU" we can listen to celebrities instead, it's only them who talk and share their experience, it's only a pity that it's not subbed in English
why did they withdraw from a "speaker concept" ? did they realize it sounded ridiculous?
but what's funny, that part of the video doesn't come from Phantacity, or at least not from any performances from ep 1 to 4 ! it's taken either from another show or from material which was recorded later (ep.4 was the first episode recorded after ep.1 aired)

very simplistic adding to the cast a new actor when you create the whole page for him/her (including details+poster) and just linking the show with an actor already existing in database - both actions are counted here equal (as 1 edit) what's more: 1) when you only "link" actor (simple action) - edit is counted sometimes on the show page, the other time on the actor's page (cannot guess why...) 2) when you create a page for an actor and link with the show (complex action) - edit is never counted on the show page, but displayed on the actor's page instead (simply as "2 edits"...) it's not reflected on show pages as it should be, and it's very confusing personally I don't care, but you will have a headache, Skye-N-Rain, when people start questioning....

Later during the position battle, I accidentally got skipped and was put on a waitlist. Despite of that, I didn't feel wronged or mistreated. Because now I know, letting go is a type of growth. Only when you let go, you can truly enjoy the moment of dancing.
This is my most beloved stage, for it is so cruel yet so real. I will apply my attitude toward dancing when facing all kinds of challenges in my life.
