omg. i love zanilla.. and i love the writer ding mo. but this drama was not good. so many slow points and the storyline was different cases that moved slow. so much potential.. but just fell flat
just started this last night, and couldnt put it down. still working on it though, can someone spoil why main lead and the other other guy on the other are not friends. its so draggy that i am on eps 9 and they still have not really addressed it other than flashbacks of good times.
trust issues. YY thought rice had erased film footage, but QM kept telling YY she couldnt have bc rice was with him. YY was upset QM wasnt on her side.
okay. finally really finished this time. eps 51 and 52 spoiler
they really should call the 2 eps the flash back eps bc there are lots. 51- biggest thing. GXS's sister couldnt deal with the stress of being raped etc.. so she had an asthma attack but couldnt get to her inhaler, so she died. bc of that.. the resturant owner and doctor couldnt get married, but seems like will again soon
52- QM quits his job. YY decides to go abroad. They dont really have a complete closure. QM's dads mistresses steals all his money, Qm's mom gives him money to cover, but does not take him back. GXS's rapist get caught and rice is lead away by police. (we just assume she gets locked up)
YY curly head friend is pregnant when YY comes to say good bye.
flash back 5 ish years. YY comes back, we find out QM is now a coffee shop owner, they end up meeting again. It doesnt show what happens in the end with actions, but you see photos of QM and YY together. there is also a voice with a man telling his wife his food has no taste and his wife responds do you want me to add wasbi? and then the husband says you are trying to kill your husband.. laughter..
the assumption is the 2 are together in the end. Overall a happy ending.

QM and YY break up in the end. YY moms dies but you find out she really a good person. She actually gave a kidney to YY's dad. QM's parents get a divorce and bc QMs mom is a worry wart, he lies and tells her that he has a g/f even though he doesnt. GSX sister pretends to be the girlfriend, so QM's mom can be calm on the phone. But this action is seen by YY, who now thinks QM is dating the sister.
YY decides to leave to go to tw, but at the airport she gets a text asking if she is QM's gf and if so can she meet at someplace. YY fwds the message to GSX's sister bc she assumes she is the GF. GSX's sister thinks it has to do with QM's mom goes to the place thinking she is helping with QM. (Here is the sad part) She ends up getting raped and is totally in disarray.
So the end, YY comes back and realizes what she has done. she cannot face QM. QM is there comforting GSX's sister. YY leaves the hospital, QM chases after only to not catch her. OPEN ending. you dont know if they ever catch the evil ppl (planted by the rice girl) that raped the sister you dont know if the sister ever recovers you dont know if the two main guys even ever meet up.
so like a river..it doesnt stand still. their childhood friendship is everchanging.
on the happy note- the doctor and the restuarnt boss finally tie the knot (they are my favorite ones to watch )

been interesting seening ZS play a different character than 020. She seems more real in this one. I do have to say i am not loving this drama.. just hasnt kept my attention, so i ve been skipping around a bit. hope it picks up.
