I have a nagging question about the girl who wrote malicious comments. She said that she couldn’t afford to…
Yeap until middle school, high school isn’t free.
But I think in all countries, it still “cost” to go to school… books, transportation, stationery, uniforms etc. I mean it will be super minimal cost but it will still amount to expenses… I’m surprised she didn’t mention it was coz she needed to help her grandma to earn money though… no idea if they are assuming it’s a given.
So I’ve always wondered why too as well, and someone finally provided the ans in Part 2 page of this series. Coz of subscription fee. So they split it and delay it means people would pay for at least another month of subscription.
Yes, I was questioning that too. There are plot holes everywhere. But still, the show is interesting.
Yea, there were, I think it’s partially because they tried to rush everything to fit 10 episodes. Like I noticed the 3 random survivors also disappeared in the last part of Ep 6. 🤣 like they just vanished.
The high score on MDL really piqued my curiosity because the viewership in S.Korea wasn’t much (hovered around 3 - 3.5%) and it didn’t increase until the last episode… so so glad I watched it.
And Jo Woo Jin is amazing… like I already noticed him in Goblin… but over here he was… just… 😯😯😯 so much on-screen presence. His character is my absolute favourite.
Totally agree with all the polarising comments below on whether this is anti-feminist… BUT I also think a lot of it is taken out of context because it was meant for Korea’s society, which is a step behind for developed Asian countries in terms of gender bias/discrimination..
I do think they exaggerated it so that it comes off as comedic (kinda debatable on whether they achieved it), but in a way I do understand the underlying messages… it does give a different perspective from a female POV… albeit the whole extreme violence thing was a tad over… the FL does really make people admire her just coz of how cool she is.
Defo surprised me coz it was a really enjoyable watch. I thought it’d be really bad, just casually watched it coz of the MDL score.
I actually think it’s so much healthier given the background and character of the grandmother…. Aih poor dude though… his current family now is just a super weird set-up given they want to erase his roots….
Honestly speaking… I don’t think it’s a bad idea for Gi-Yeong to live with his grandmother… In a way I think he would feel more secure, comfortable and less pressured…
Two different physiatrists said she's fine 😅I honestly hoped she's mentally ill but she's just a bjtchShe even…
Yes, that is fair. Though there are also chances that the body washes up ashore but at least there’s a chance. But they chose to do it in NT…. It was just 🙄
Yeappp. The conclusion was someone who was half sane did it on a whim coz of money…. But it did get me thinking if it happens in real life. In countries where there are just soooo many people like India and China… whereby words can be taken outta context and murder is committed over something menial or even just a super small amount of money. But yes, the style of how the author did it was exactly like the marriage bit. It’s solved but kinda open…. I think that’s also why the novel didn’t rate well.
But I loved the cinematography, I might have dropped if it wasn’t coz of the acting/cast and cinematography… Have to admit though Xia Bing Ching isn’t some ethereal beauty, her body and her face really suits the role. Her body reminds me of Dakota Johnson 🤣. I’m curious if the other Feng Xiao Gang drama is any good. Hope to see you in other thrillers posting againnn! ❤️
Ki Young’s father… I know he’s in a dilemma but like seriously… wth.
