Can you tell me what's going on? I like her but i am seeing alot of people throwing allegations at her so i am confused

Yess it wrapped up last year June i believe so more than a year now. Censorship this year for thriller dramas are strict after controversies with drifting away (glorifying murderers etc) so there is delay for this most likely due to not receiving broadcasting license as of yet. The moment it is passed from censorship board, youku will release it. That is what cfans believe is the reason for the delay

Yes alot of people have prejudiced opinion about him due to watching meteor garden or ofl which are not that good & some didn't try more of his better works & assumed his acting hasn't improved. But recently environment towards him is really good. Everyone giving love to him so i am hoping environment for his upcoming dramas will be a bit better & those who have prejudice opinion can at least try his other works instead of assuming the worst

The new trailer is soo good & looks like a movie quality drama. Thriller is one of my favorite genre so I am so looking forward to this

If you are enjoying it then i recommend to complete it. This drama has alot of rewatch value anyway so ik whenever it comes out, i will watch it again because it gets better on rewatch since we are attached to characters already

There is no official confirmation yet because wang hedi is shooting another drama currently but there are several hints about s2 especially if you watch the end credit scene on ep 40 which is basically telling the audience that there is more on next season & to be continued. On first ep when mc is reading the script, we can see gotd s1 written on it (implying this is just part 1 of the story) & author has said later that he is discussing about improvements in script of s2 with wang hedi so that's another hint that it is in the works

Welcome ♥️♥️. I am glad to help you & i felt similar like you initially but the more i thought about their personality the more i understood that writer is just showing different povs of our main leads & how their ideologies clash throughout the drama

I think dfqc didn't kick the ball at the end which showed to me he is not willing to forgive him for everything. The drama doesn't show that father was misunderstood. It just simply show us perspective of both main leads. Orchid is someone who is hopeful, naive & optimistic type & had no parents so she didn't understand that a father can be evil. But then later when she learns the reality, she still tries for him to reconcile because she don't want him to feel guilty for killing his father. With dfqc, he is getting all his emotions back at that moment after not feeling anything for thousands of years. He felt anger, anguish, hatred, love, sadness & pain all at the same time. When i was watching this scene, i was angry at orchid but i understood that this is her psychology or how she views the world & parental love. What was most imp for me is to see dfqc answer because if he forgave his father like he did nothing wrong then it would have been wrong message. That's why i love that scene when he didn't kick the ball because even though it is his father & in his heart somewhere, he still don't despise him completely, he isn't ready to completely forgive him. About that scene of him saying "i don't blame him anymore" is more about dfqc accepting that he killed his father & facing that reality & coming to terms with it instead of feeling guilty. He used to despise his father & he still have mixed feelings about him (hence he didn't kick the ball) but he is now moving forward instead of holding grudge against him. It's more about how sometimes victims wants to move on from their hatred for their own peace of mind but still don't completely forgive their abusers. This is how i view this scene
