This! She pulled the rug out from the group and said, "but, really, it's OK because I'm going to give you consolation…
I definitely see her do it, she is so hell bend on having Thame go to Korea alone. I personally do not get it, she is hammering him on changing the industry etc, but she doesn’t for a moment think about what Thame wants or needs.
Oh I did not think of the redemption arc, I certainly hope there isn't one for her. GMMTV had an opportunity here…
In 10 liners the mother didn’t deserve a redemption arc, every viewer agreed on that, yet it was given to her. Because somehow GMMTV wants to wrap everything in a neat little bow. I think better prepare for the redemption arc, the more happy you are if it’s not going to happen.
Honestly, knowing it would happen is why I'm waiting for the show to end before I watch it. I really hate temporary…
Especially that last part. Like when a couple has been apart for years, those screenwriters and directors act as if ‘characters’ don’t grow and change. They might not even have the same interest, likes, etc anymore, lol they might even be in a relationship or had relationships. To act as if they can just pick up where they left of, is for me just lazy writing.
Only time, I actually like time jumps is if I see what happens during those years, if characters for example still think of said person or are actively changing to better themselves. For example the heartkillers did it good, same with Unknown.
Speaking of Unknown, that has to be really the only series that took the whole time jump seriously. They did the time jump in ep 8, with still 4 episodes left. After Wei Zhi Yuan returns after 4/5 years, you can see how he’s not the same, how he is changed. Even though Yuan kept Qian up to date trough texts, Wei Qian realizes very fast that he doesn’t really know, his crush anymore. They tentatively start getting closer by just getting to know each other again. Thats the realistic part of the series. But then again it’s a Taiwanese series, they don’t really go wrong with BL series.
This episode absolutely destroyed me. Took me over an hour to watch it cuz I kept pausing in between because if…
Every time I see that woman, I need to smother the urge to reach in my screen and strangle her. I absolutely loath her, the amount of times I said that I wished Mars would just leave that god damn company and find a company who actually supports and respects their wishes, instead of actively trying to break them up, is ridiculous. I know it’s probably not a possibility because of the contract fees, but really she is just so toxic. Only thinking about fast money instead of long term, Mars is popular, so why is she so hell bend on sending Thame to Korea alone, to a place he doesn’t want to go. Does she want Thame to be unhappy, to be depressed?
Oh, JG. We're talking about a BL here. If the parents don’t die horribly in a car accident, how could BL as…
Agreed. Especially after Fuji finds Sei completely naked when he wanted to take a shower, Sei is literally begging him. You don’t tell me that anybody who had a crush on somebody, has said person begging them to be sexual would actually reject, deny that. With Fuji his explanation it just doesn’t fit. It seems to be lazy writing, same with Fuji saying he didn’t know Sei liked him, seriously? I’m somewhat disappointed.
If you thought Bokurano was explicit, you should see The Pornographer series, or films such as Dangerous Drugs…
I still don’t get why 2gether is so hyped and loved. They had more chemistry and were touching more when they were faking the relationship, then when they actually were in a relationship and living together. It felt like two brothers living together than partners. And I didn’t need nc scenes, like those fans tend to say when you bring it up but hand holding, a hug or even a peck on the cheeks, really anything to make me believe they were a loving couple. I didn’t even start the second season.

Yes to all of it. These dead fish kisses as I like to call them is the reason I haven’t watched our youth, after episode 2. It always throws me out of the story and the feelings because it looks so fake and unappealing. You don’t kiss like that in real life, you might give a peck but full on kissing isn’t this stiff stance, with lips barely moving/touching.
Honestly I was expecting them to be passionately kissing because they yearned, longingly for each other. I felt disappointed and dissatisfied with the final episode.
The comments were so harsh and disrespectful. I didn’t see perthsanta fans complain when a major chunk of their…
That’s not because of the extra scenes what were given to Faifa or FaifaWine, but because New absolutely destroyed Perth his character compared to the book and both YothaGun their trauma were treated like a joke. Thats why PerthSanta fans are complaining!
Some people have asked what will start airing after When It Rains It Poors ends. I think it’s going to be Secret Relationship, it starts on February 27th. It’s a South Korean series, probably is being aired on iQIYI.
THIS series has shown me that most bl fans are HYPOCRITES, they will complain when a series plot is too simple,…
Agreed! You should have seen the comment section from 10 liners when YothaGun storyline aired. Yotha is a very complicated character with a traumatic backstory. But the hate the character got for healing from that backstory, and protecting his love interest from certain hurts, was ridiculous. He was dubbed a ‘red flag’ because he was healing from trauma. People ask for a complicated character but once they got a complicated character they start complaining about their love story not going fast enough, etc.
I find it ridiculous really, the same thing happened with 4 minutes the series. People are hating it because it’s a highly complicated story, you need to pay attention and stay focused, if you want to understand it. It’s not an all straight forward, all fluff sort of storyline.
When exactly did Yotha “interrupt” FaifaWine’s time? He is Wine’s peer mentor and is the one who is trying…
Agreed I kind of got a bit annoyed when Faifa showed up at the 10 liners party, he had a party next door with his friends. Why show up to something you weren’t really invited to. He couldn’t even give Wine a few minutes to be alone and let him breathe, I personally would feel so suffocated by such a person.
That's his peer mentee also it's time for faifah to know how it feelswhen interfere 😂
When exactly had Yotha time to bond with Wine before Faifa jumped between them. Saying Yotha isn’t an ideal peer mentor after not even one moment between them is in my opinion reaching, I’m sorry to say it like that. But you can clearly see Yotha is trying and protective of Wine.
Judging by your reaction to Faifa, I guess you didn’t like Arc either?
Yeah I found Arc problematic in the beginning, but from what I can remember (mind you that was 3/4 months ago), Arc changes somewhat.
Like I said I’m hoping it gets better the next few episodes, I’m not abandoning this series or hating on Faifa. I’m just not feeling them or connecting with them, so far. The same way I couldn’t connect with KantBison in the heartkillers.
That's his peer mentee also it's time for faifah to know how it feelswhen interfere 😂
Right?! Faifa had no problems butting in to Yotha and Gun their problems. And in ‘protecting’ Gun from his big bad brother, Faifa completely abandoned Yotha.
BossNoeul as always slayed! I really liked their part, I loved how Cir was supporting Phu with the loss of his father. Or how Cir every time Phu felt down, tried to lift him up. You can see that BossNoeul has grown when it comes to their acting skills. Both their eyes spoke volumes today, only thing what I kind of missed was a couple of tears but not really needed, because you could clearly see the pain in Phu his eyes. I’m looking forward to next week.
I really don’t like Jin, he is so pushy. How many more times need Wine say no (out loud or in his mind) before Jin finally gets it and stops. Constantly ignoring Wim his boundaries is not cute it’s toxic. Needing to blackmail Cir to get Wim to go with him to the movies is also not okay. Using Wim his thoughts to get closer is just wrong! And kissing somebody who has said multiple times that he doesn’t want to be around you is not funny.
I’m going to be honest, I’m not feeling FaifaWine so far. I know it’s only their first episode and they barely had any scenes (thanks New). But the scenes I did saw were okay-ish.
I feel like Faifa is way to desperate and clingy towards Wine, like dude do you not see Wine being uncomfortable as hell? They are practically strangers, they only met 2 times before and those meetings were maybe 5 minutes where they saw/spoke to each other. Faifa is so pushy, give Wine some time to breathe, please! Also what’s with all the touching? Never heard of personal space? I get Faifa being a people pleaser but that doesn’t mean he constantly has to invade somebody else’s personal space.
I can understand why Yotha is protective of Wine. That little slip up where Faifa says it’s not going to be like the others, yeah I have questions about it.
I get a lot of people are super excited, I’m less excited. Hopefully it will be better during the next episodes.
Please do let me live, I’m just expressing my opinion.
I don't know, but I just find the whole story boring and I feel like it's dragging on and that nothing really…
I think you mean Faifa. And I agree with the last alinea. I think YothaGun storyline got seriously messed up by director New. Because in the book they handle Yotha and Gun their trauma very maturely and serious. Well have to see with Faifa and Wine their storyline. New has a habit of having the actor who plays the role of the bottom, act very childish.
