Complete second-lead syndrome. I think it's been years since I had it this bad for a second lead. URGH. The age…
LOL, Lee Sung Kyung is incredibly hot, but that's definitely not enough for me to get SLS for her. :P
Everyone in these kdramas are stupidly attractive and charismatic.
Gotta admit, I'm pretty surprised at all the "REVERSE HAREM!!" complaints. Have we all collectively…
If anyone besides Ji Hong and Yoon Do are actually "falling in love" and not just admiring a unique and attractive woman, I'll eat my words, for sure. I think it's a little foolish to make such sweeping generalizations at the very first sign of cliché, though.
TBF, confident and independent women IRL are total catnip for most young men. And considering the only other eligible woman around right now is a whiny spoiled snob, it kinda makes sense that Hye Jung's the one turning heads.
Soon Hee seems to have grabbed the attention of a couple guys herself, though.
Gotta admit, I'm pretty surprised at all the "REVERSE HAREM!!" complaints. Have we all collectively forgotten the first 4 episodes?
Hye Jung was a young woman who grew up totally misunderstood by everyone, abused, hated, loathed, for no reason. People just hated her and misjudged her without cause, and this constant abuse got her to a point where she began behaving how people expected her to behave.
Then she met her grandmother and Ji Hong and they taught her how to be a person. She dealt with loss, but she channeled all of her pain into growing into a self-confident and independent person who doesn't let the opinions of others determine how she behaves.
Now, after all of that awfulness, she's at a place in her life where her peers actually ADMIRE her for who she is, who look at her and appreciate her qualities and strengths, rather than judge her differences.
And all anyone can say is "omg reverse harem mary sue show dropped lolz."
That's a lot of drama within 5 episodes. What are they going to have left for the rest of the 15 episodes? This…
Of all the complaints and whining, I have to admit I agree that Hye Jung and Ji Hong will definitely go through some vicious Noble Idiocy at some point. But perhaps this show will surprise us in that department. It's already surprised us once or twice.
So, how does everyone feel about it?
Essential or skippable?
6 episodes in and this is definitely a good drama. The leads are utterly magnetic. Ignore the hate; PSH and KRW are unbelievable. The real gold of this show, so far, are the backstories for the two leads and the unique attitude and perspective of KRW's Hong Ji Hong character. Should not be missed.
for senseless entertainment this drama is good. no better than porn. I heard many guys are into Hye Jung. Clear…
For a senseless comment, this comment was pretty bad. Didn't even make sense. I'm wondering if CatoCat is on the wrong board?
Or perhaps, like many Internet Whiners, he/she has simply accumulated some of the more fringe negative opinions of the show and, without watching it, created this Ultimate Post of Whining out of sheer boredom so other bored people like me would reply in frustration. Crap, I fell for it... :(
LMFAO THAT KISS IN EP 6 IS TOTALLY PSH STYLE
WHY U ALWAYS DO DIS PSH
JUST
WHY
I think someone needs to mention PSH's kisses in Pinocchio on every single one of these tired comments. She can obviously kiss. Obviously. If the director tells her to react awkwardly or stiffly, then that's what she has to do. She's not her own director.
This "can't kiss" rep for PSH is one of the most banal things I've ever come across in kdrama fandom. Ridiculous.
I feel bad for Seo Woo, it's like everyone expects something from her but no one really wants anything from her...…
A character can have issues without being delusional. Seo Woo is one of the most delusional characters I've ever seen in kdrama. Despite that, I'm still hoping she becomes a sympathetic character later, because the potential is certainly there.

You can't just say "this is crap" and act like you won something.

I suppose I was asking for this.

When did this happen? What did I miss?
This comment is very funny since I've only seen Tree With Deep Roots and not Six Flying Dragons.
