This drama is just the embodiment of depressing. It's a good drama but my goodness it never lets up with the sadness and the overall feeling of helplessness. I wanted to binge this but because the subject matter and how the story was unfolding, I could only watch this sparingly and with a lot of fluffy dramas in-between.
The stories from each individual that piece together and shows the impact they had on Yukino- it's straight up brilliant storytelling. While watching I would be thinking "Where are they going with this?" then as the story continued everything would come together.
The cast did an amazing job; Tsumabuki is such an underrated actor it's not even funny and Takeuchi had me feeling so bad for every every step of the way. The only person who felt added nothing was Yoshine; her character was pretty unforgettable.
I would totally recommend this if you're in the mood to cry, need to be all in your feelings, and just ready to be emotionally wrecked.
