I really liked this drama! It was cute, funny, and serious. Every moment was engaging. The actors were all perfectly cast and did a great job. And I thought the background music was very well done. This is one drama that I wish would have been longer. And the ending was perfect. I will definitely watch again.

I've only watched Chinese dramas and have not ventured into Chinese movies yet. This one seems good. Planning…
Hi. Yes it does have romance but very realistic and classy. I would say definitely impressive, and the movie actually ends up revolving around the romance. You will see--it is done so well! It is a 2-part movie which makes it even better. I loved it so much that it would be great to develop as a series. Enjoy!

P.S. Here are a few dramas you might enjoy...
Tale of Nokdu
Princess Agents
Tribes and Empires
Arthdal Chronicles
Ashes of Love
Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms
Nirvana
My PS Partner/Whatcha' Wearin' (very adult--not for kids--modern day but goofy, cute love story)
Lie To Me (so funny--one my favorites)
To The Beautiful You (young and fun college kids)
Cantabile (music college kids -really funny)

Take care...

Hi. Yes it does have romance and is very realistic and subtle--I would say poignant and the movie actually ends up revolving around the romance. You will see--it is done so well! It is a 2-part movie which makes it perfect, although I loved it so much that it would be great to develop as a series. Enjoy! (Now I want to watch it again! Ha! So many times--I love it!)

I just completed Legend of Fei & Douluo Continent both of which I loved and couldn't wait to watch the next episodes…
I really want to watch this drama especially since so many people are raving about it— I must be missing something!
I like the actors and I’ve seen the first few episodes but I really hate zombies so that’s probably the number one reason I stopped watching. That’s funny because I don’t mind ghosts so much (I loved “Goblin”) but zombies are just so gruesome and ridiculous—Ha!

Pretty good drama. Not sure about the last two episodes but not bad. The subtitles were difficult—all over the place. I had to kind of guess what was going on sometimes. Sorry, but it would have been so much more enjoyable with accurate translation. The costumes were great and the actors were cute and good, but I don’t know if I would watch it again. The extra Episode 36 was a surprise since I thought it would end at 35.
Now I think I need something a little more seriouslike “Princess Agents” or “Tribes and Empires.”
I am also waiting for the sequel to “Arthdal Chronicles”—can’t wait! Anyone know of more like these? Thanks.

Great acting, good story, just because they aren't young and hot does not mean it's not worth watching, ladies.…
Being young isn’t everything—Ha! There is such a thing as “Old and Hot!!” (not just meaning someone who’s sexy, but someone who has character, principles and charm.)

He Han keeps sacrificing his career to help these “independent” women. The relationships are all imbalanced.…
it’s just kind of guy he was—loyal, faithful, caring for not just these women but for everyone, even the companies he dealt with. He was a man of character living his principles with no excuses.

what ?? there is no happy ending for all male leads and female leads ??
Remember the title “The First Half of My Life.” Life continues. Although I do kind of wish they had actually seen each other. although you can tell by what they both said that they will be looking for each other.

Really good drama. Loved the story, The actors were excellent. I loved the jazz music—perfect. I really didn’t want this drama to end—I am waiting for season 2–please! I rated this 9.5. I know I am going to keep thinking about this drama and eventually watch it again. (I watched this on Amazon Prime.)

Do not read the “PeachBlossomGiddess” review above. It gives away the entire story from beginning to end! Luckily, I didn’t happen to read it till after I watched the drama series. I gave the drama a rating of 8.0.

I liked the actors but it was too slow and somewhat disjointed. They continually kept skipping every 5 years or so.

Sorry, but the movie Django is one of the films that got me to start really disliking Tarantino. All his films are so violent and bloody. We have enough of that in the world—we don’t need to watch movies like that too. Some people might think he’s a great director because he can present things in a unique way, but it still doesn’t change the fact that it is glorifying violence and bloodshed and bizarre behaviors. The trend in movies is very horrifying these days. It’s almost like going back to the Roman gladiator days when people gathered at Colosseums to watch people being tortured and murdered as entertainment. I also did not like the Korean film (Parasite) that won the “big” award this year. I was so excited for S. Korea at first until I watched it. Even though the actors were good at playing their characters, it was disgusting. I have discovered and watched so many wonderful Korean dramas in the past several years, but to me, that movie was not representative of Korea at all. I thought at the time that it was very “Tarantino-esque.” I was embarrassed that any of the people I know might think of Koreans that way.

I love this drama and have watched it a few times with friends. It’s so hilarious and the actors are great. I think this drama is so underrated! It deserves at least an 8.5 or 9 out of. 10!
