I just finished the first episode and I’m a mess. This is the most I have cried while watching anything. Maybe…
I literally had to stop watching and put some other shows on to help me deal with episode 1. I'm glad to see you stuck it through and enjoyed it, I'll try to as well
the first episode is there to set up the healing, its like a warm blanket after that first episode.
Just started ep5, the blanket isn't warm yet, but at least i'm finally over ep1.
So far the show has triggered grief/regrets and my own internal debates about sacrifices for high earning career vs. peace, rest and fulfillment... all the thoughts i "escape" by watching dramas 😅😣
How long does it take for the friendship and romance bonds to really develop?
What's wrong? I've been through several episodes now, and it seems like the main leads are going to piss themselves…
Lol, they really were embarrassingly awkward initially. She's clearly dealing with her first serious attraction and he apparently doesn't talk much. Keep watching, they start to adapt to eachother. :)
Took months for me to get past Episode 1, but I saw a comment (under another series) comparing it to You Are My Glory, so I decided to give it a real chance. I'm so glad I did. I enjoyed LY's very intentional pursuit, and even his accomodations of their age and life experience gap (first time I've seen a ML tell a FL that if her bf doesn't obviously want her, she needs a new bf, even while pausing his advances 😂). I also enjoyed getting to watch him redeem himself and address his regrets. Learned about billiards along the way. Going on my comfort rewatch list.
The story is nice & smooth like butter but too slow to be engaged. The staring part is too much. There is…
It was a pregnancy scare, ahe came out and told him the result was negative and they talked on the stairs about being relieved- she's young and has so many options, didn't want to curb her options with a kid at that time. JY's blind date they talked about mid ahow was a divorcee, if he ended up with her, mist likely her son since he was referred to as the stepfather. We don't know anything about what his wife does, but even if she's available, kids still spend time with relatives - all part of a community raising a kid.
Ok so is it safe to assume that every part will have heavy content? Because this almost brought me to tears and i watched it right after the 1st one...
This was so well done! Even the complexities of the characters... you may not like their decisions or reactions at times, but the entire point was a love regardless of flaws. Acting, directing, production, everything came together to tell this story beautifully. 10/10, unseating The Eighth Sense as my best kBL.
Shun's mother is beyond ridiculous. Girl, you somehow forgot you were a hostess at a snack bar and married into…
THIS! I assume she keeps trying to wash away the stain of her own background with more connections to high society. But honey, that stain is permanent when you keep acting like a snobbish upstart... real recognizes real! Clearly the company became what it was without the chairman needing to make a socially advantageous marriage, stop pressuring your son.
This drama would've been better if Yugo and Shun took revenge on their mom! that woman didn't care for any of…
Exactly! This is where a little western flavor of calling parents out when they're out of line would have reduced my irritation levels. I had too many " b*tch please" moments about the ML's mom. And the FL's mom is a straight up snob.
Still on Ep1, keep pausing to make sure i'm following who's who & their motives, but I can already sense chemistryy!

Seriously though... I just watched the OG movies because I wanted all the foundational info before watching the series, and these comments are telling me that was 7-8 hours down the drain and I should just stop there before adding another 3hrs wasted on the series?? 😩
