"I'm applying to DO on (7th of March 2024)

How I discovered Dramas

My first drama was Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. I started watching it after finishing the anime and reading the manga, but it wasn't enough to satiate my thirst so I gave the drama a go and then I found about this beautiful website which recommended me a bunch of other Japanese dramas to try and then more and more until I started getting Korean drama recommendations and that's when it all started going wrong......

As you can guess I fell... hard, I became high-key obsessed with K-dramas and then after 2 years of this ongoing obsession I decided to stick my feet into deep waters and have a go and Chinese dramas.... at first I only watched them once in a while but NOW..... these Drama channels be spitting shows out like a toy factory I just felt obligated to watch them all and then Thai dramas. Let's be real, I never had a lick of interest into Thai dramas until I started reading Chinese BL novels and then.... I saw the first episode of UWMA and chile... I was hooked like a fish on a line.

And that brings us here!

About Me ?

Hi my name is nun yo business, but you can call me T. I started watching dramas in 2015 and fell in love with them since.

I am a hopeless romantic which is why I love watching dramas so much. For me I find that each country gives me a different type of feeling with romantic dramas for example;

- Korea is usually a slow burn with a few misunderstandings but overall a cheesy romance

- China is more fast paced but has drama at every corner and is almost always a happy ending

- Japan is either a very slow burn or instant romance with maybe 1 misunderstanding and very rare romantic interactions

- Thai (BL's/Lakorns) are usually fast paced in a more physical sense rather than an emotional sense and the coupling tends to be dragged out for a long period of time

But I love them all the same. What I hate however is stupid misunderstanding which all of them seems to have stemmed from one problem... communication and almost all of these miscommunications are because one person observes a situation and makes their own conclusion about it and ends up leaving or fighting with their SO... like how DUMB?!

But anyways moral of this poorly written paragraph is that I love dramas and forever will. Toodles.
