I def want to watch this movie, but is this horror-based? I'm not into such a genre.
No it's def not a horror-based movie i.e. throws sudden scary scenes in your face. Yes you'll see gruesome scenes, but it's a supernatural/mystery/action type of movie. The 1st hour is the build-up (bear with it), then the plot thickens right through to the end and more. Personally, I believe it deserves a higher rating than 8.5. If supernatural/mystery/action type of movie is within one of your favorite genres, then I def recommend this.
