Ditto. I like the premise, but I haven't found it anywhere else with subs.

The Taiwanese version is my all time favorite no matter how many remakes come after it. Joe and Ariel just had that magic. The original Jdrama grew on me after watching it a time or two, but it's not a favorite by any means. I'll probably watch this remake though I think it's way too soon for another. I did adore the recent Japanese remake, but the thai one was horrible.

I loved it! Can anyone recommend similar movies, Japanese and otherwise?

As someone who waited for the first ten and watched them in 2 days, I'd say yes.

I tried the manga a while back, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. I watched for Hiro. It was pretty good, not great, but interesting enough that it held my attention.

This was one of my first kdramas and melos. I actually really loved it despite the somber feel and slow pace. First thing I saw Kangta in and haven't seen anything with him since. Wish he'd do more dramas.

Thanks for your reply and your English is fine. I don't mind cliches, but I find I am tired of lakorns that aren't executed well and have little to no plot and only rely on kissing/hugging and the looks and popularity of the actors to keep the audience hooked. I'll probably skip this one.

Even more excited after watching the trailer. The lead actually looks more the part than I thought he would. Really really praying for subs. TFP!
