After reading some comments and reviews on here, I realise this movie is not without flaw. But I would still really really like to see a sequel because I did really enjoy it.
If you're looking for more Joseph Zeng's work maybe you want to check Ultimate Note (2020) next. I haven't watched…
Yes I think you can because there isn't actually a chronological order they made evertything in. It's multiple adaptions from multiple parts of the written series. They're also not all made by the same company which is one of the reasons that it has a different cast every time. Here are some links I found with more info on the franchise and its adaptations, they have already helped me sort things out a bit. Though to really undertand the story and characters I think you'd have to read the novels(which I haven't). Thing is, only the first six novels of the main story have english translations and from what I've read on these pages, the writer likes to be a bit chaotic too. I hope we get the opportunity to read the whole thing in english one day. (and other chinese franchises too)
Interesting. I think I'll add this one. I've seen Joseph in Fighter of the Destiny and I liked his performance. When I when to check his works for more he's done there wasn't a lot yet. Glad he gets to do some interesting things. But yeah this has to wait a little because somebody wrote an article about Psych-Hunter and I have currently already glued myself to that one. :)
Yeah, I'm afraid I'm a fellow sufferer of NDD. I use the 5 or 10 second skip button when it gets boring or just too confusing. However the titles that I skip through to completion do end up on my dropped list. Like, I completed them, but I cheated for it. Those just can't sit between with the ones that I actually completed if you know what I mean (even though my dropped list is pretty short, still). I also add loads of things to my PTW list or my 'ever growing, never shrinking' list so yeah Ikr.
And then there's the ranting which I like doing from time to time. And yes, most of them are about the stupid and incredibly annoying misundertandings and love triangles. Because for some reason the big majority of female leads just can't F***ing say what actually happened/stand up for herself or decide who she likes more. I also often like to complain about how they seem to have a need for putting romance in litteraly EVERYTHING. Not being a very big fan of romance; this is stupid. If I'm not complaining about that, I'm complaining about shitty endings, character deaths that I didn't want to happen or characters suffering memory loss (not from the start).
This was a very funny read. Especially "When an emotional scene comes on, I pull out Zombie Tsunami and eat some civilians." and "Just watch the people run around like idiots... It's quite amusing." made me chuckle out loud. That among other things that found fun and/or familiar. Thanks! Good to know there's a community for NDD! XD
You already had me at supernatural mystery + psychological thiller. But with strong bromance, good teamwork and no love triangles or second lead syndromes? YES. PLEASE. I'll take that. As I continued reading it just got better and better. Thank you for writing this! I think I just found a little gem indeed.
the only one who signed for 8 years was the guy who played wu xie (forgot his name) in the first season. yang…
that I already didn't like. what I didn't like even more is that they now have an entirely different cast. I'll still watch it 'cause I like tomb stuff, but that really disappointed me.
okay so I'm really happy that they did make a sequel after all. but at the same time, I'm really angry that it's a completely different cast. I really liked the cast of the first season. T_T what happened? I mean the previous wu xie (feng someting) signed a contract, what happened to that? I mean great. A sequel. But why a completely different cast??? I honestly don't know if I want to watch this one...
Finally! The main cast signed 8 year contracts to film all the books but I was worried that filming would be delayed…

and three years is not that long. with some movie franchises we have to wait like a decenium for a sequel.
cool animation, great plot, good cast, a fair dose of humor, AWESOME music and a plot that is actually too big and complicated for the time a movie has. now I heard that there's a part two coming up, so they didn't stuff everything in one movie and so right now I'm only talking about this one. still I think this would have been better if it was a drama or maybe a mini-series . nevertheless I love this movie and I'm looking forward to more.
Why is DO always either sad or evil in his dramas and movies?
Because he looks good like that? Now that we're used to sad and evil, how weird would it be if he did a movie in which he's like the badass lifesaver or something?
I'm really surprised I didn't cry even once. I've become heartless! aahh! But I did feel sad and I was like 'you're kidding, right?' a couple of times, so I guess it's okay. Good movie.
This is so good. I'm rewatching this again after nearly 2 years of finishing it, NOSTALGIA, beautiful. Noble…
thank you! I was looking for Swords of Legends. just got one more question; this page says the episodes are 45 min. long. but on that site it's 40 and it kinda looks like the ending is cut off. are the last few min. missing or is this page just wrong? (I don't remember how long they rlly were)

hi! could you maybe tell me where you watch it? I haven't watched in a while but when I returned to continue, the site deleted it and I can't find a proper version anywhere else. I don't wanna drop it yet :'(
I also found a title that isn't in here yet.

It says it's a prequel for Mystic Nine. Can you add it?
Thanks again :)
Oh they better make a season 2!!

I think that's worth a plan to watch entry!
