I read that a lot of them also maintain low weight to look good in historical dramas cause of all the layers they wear. That along with the beauty standard thing in K, C, and T entertainment where what we consider as skinny is fat. I feel bad for what some of these celebs go through to maintain or loose weight.

Yeah, there were some unnecessary details but I like how the focus did stay with the main couple and stayed pretty close to the novel.

My Fireworks sounds interesting. She was the blind date that was related to the AI Professor in the states. I may look into that novel and the drama. I like Yang Yang but FL seems new.

Lol…yeah…I remember that time too…guess they had fun on both desks in his villa. The time on the desk in the study was right before the break-up. I was shocked at all the that in the novel. Just realized you translated the novel in the link. You did a great job. Thanks for posting it. It was so much easier than trying to decipher everything from Google Translated pages.

Umm…the link above has a pretty good translation compared to google-translate when I read it. That time on the desk before the break up, I don’t think they even got their clothes off. Also, Google translate implied the giving head in the shower scene but from the other translation, it very obvious 🔥 especially what followed that…made me blush…definitely a rated R scene. The sexual tension between the two leads and their 🔥 chemistry is crazy in the novel.

No worries, not taking it that seriously. I didn’t watch SAHPH. I like Xu Kai but for some reason I haven’t been able to watch Yang Mi in modern roles. I like her historical/Xianxia roles though. Tencent shows are hit or miss for me cause YAMG was good.

Agree, hope the focus remains on the main couple and side stories are just there to support like in the novel. That’s what I liked about RH, the main couple’s story whether it was their career or romance was front and center.

The novel focused a lot on FL’s growth in her career so I would expect a good amount of business especially since the development of their relationship started with building her business. I also think it will be balanced out.

Some of the love scenes in the novel hinted at some raunchy stuff (rated R/NC-17) so I’m not surprised they changed that but I don’t think it will be completely free of romance.

She didn’t really get a proposal in the novel…since he kinda just blurted to the press that she was his fiancé. It’s probably a subtle romance and not as steamy as the novel.

lol…I ffwd through most of that. The introduction of how the secondary couples met summed it all up and was enough for me to last the whole series. Even the antagonists are written badly.

I’m probably going to ffwd and mainly watch the main couple with their kid.

Does anyone know when this is going to be released?

Saw pictures/videos of a picnic, hope that means the drama will incorporate the epilogues of their married years.

I really hope they don’t turn them against FL. As long as they don’t turn them bitter like in Be Together, I don’t care if they date after Shao Yichen and Yi Xing breaks up. Maybe they have her going for Shao Yichen herself instead of setting him up with a different classmate. They all went to school together.

Yeah, that set up thing was not a “friend” thing to do but at least it kept them from the possibility of getting back together. The other girl was more what he was looking for in a relationship. I hope these back stories don’t take too much of the episodes. Someone said that Zeng Di was going to be played by sun actress that’s not listed because they hadn’t made it public yet. Zeng Di had a bigger presence in the novel than LiLi.

They really can’t get away from the forest. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll give it a try for the leads.
