Yeah, the secondary couple is more about getting together due to practicality, which was how it was depicted in the novel. Definitely do wish more bonding time with children like everyone else but baby is more connected with GX which is how it usually is with families where the dad is away most of the time. The wedding table scene was actually how my daughter was at our wedding at the same age. Luckily we had her best friend there to keep her company.
Finally my real review9.5 starsI will never get over this drama, now every couple will be mediocre. Who will top…

I'm on chapter 6 of the novel. So far, The drama didn't deviate from the novel at all, which surprising. they…
1. Differences: LC started out at University then dropped out to enlist in military, he did not attend an academy which is one of the reasons GX’s dad was against their relationship. Also, he left the military and joined the police in Beijing area as a EOD instructor instead of transferring back to Beijing area. GX’s parents worked for the government, dad was military academy graduate and became a high military official, while mom is a diplomat in the diplomat corp and her dad didn’t want the divorce because it would hurt his military career (their marriage was beneficial for their careers), but GX threatened to tell everyone about his affair which infidelity is just as bad so he finally relented to divorce (not separation like in drama) but kicked both (GX & mom) out so GX was in a really bad way when they broke up. Her and her mom were practically homeless, very little money and mom getting sick shortly after. That was why she learned to be independent and not dependent on others or loose herself to love so even if she lost LC one day, she’d be okay.; also why she would give all her money to the doctor friend who’s dad basically saved her mom’s life. This wasn’t in the drama which would have explained her emotional state even more and why her relationship with her dad was so strained. GX’s dad was still a high military official and not a businessman when they got back together. Also, the novel had more details of the mission he went on when he got injured (was a diplomats rescue mission). 2. Romance was of course steamier in novel, they were like rabbits. 3. Novel is more detailed in some areas that is even more realistic but would they would most likely not want to show on tv. 4. The wedding is the ending in both. I don’t remember a chapter with LC’s POV.

🤣😂 Poor Prince Ying…when your mother gives up and says “you used to be on par with CP but not anymore”. Difference between the 2 concubines and their paths…their acceptance of reality.
This post should come with a warning lol so many emotions wrapped up in one long paragraph. Also, what's up with…
I’m actually a fan of TSY and have never attacked any celebrities. If you read my comments you can see that. Someone asked about why TSY doesn’t promote CP and I answered with what I’ve read. I actually admire TSY for her hard work and for not using CP promotions.
when they are reading the royal decree to hua liu li, is the translation “crown princess” correct? i don’t…
It’s a mis-translation. It’s supposed to be Commandery Princess, or Princess of the 3rd rank. In the first episode she was made XianZhu County Princess or Princess of 4th Rank then in episode 17 she was promoted to JianZhu which is the same as Jiamin. Crown Princess is CP’s wife, Taizi Fei, which is what she would become if she married the CP.
On her own, the more royal promotions would be if she was made a GongZhu or Princess of 2nd rank, which sometimes can happen in the dramas where the Emperor adopts a niece, promotes them to GongZhu to marry them off to a foreign Prince in a political marriage.
I was hoping for a more detailed wedding and explanation of his injuries. Today felt very rushed to me. The 2.5…
Yeah…these last couple of episodes felt rushed. Needed more details of his injuries and second couple. They could have put in those details and cut some of the flash backs.

From what I read, Seven got attacked/hate by LH’s fans after they promoted that CP from their movie together. After that, she promoted the dramas with her co-stars but never focused on CP.

He’s dating a model but that shouldn’t have anything to do with promotions. Wallace Chung is married and they went on Happy Camp together and did a Mr/Mrs Smith scene to promote Sword and Brocade. It’s not like they’d promote CP but the drama. They’re all professionals. Seven doesn’t promote CPs. I think it’s mainly cause she’s busy with the new drama filming.
Seems we’ve got some trolls on this page. Folks, you really don’t have to watch this drama or any other. No…
I hope they show what happened on his mission tomorrow. The mission in the novel was different but I think it did go into what happened after he woke up.
