It’ll most likely take a computer simulation to show that if CX followed his instructions, they would have had a collision. Since it was an already known factor that they were on a collision course, they have to show which course was best, break in midline or swerve. Swerving had a lot of downstream affects but CX hopefully had already calculated everything before hands with back-up solutions like GNT taught her so it wasn’t a completely rash decision to swerve.

He’s pretty versatile. He played the lawyer boss in My Little Happiness and was good in Mad House.

I think it’s close to his time to go. After the investigation into the incident on ep14, we should see movement on that front. They can do computer simulations to see whose decision would have the best choice for lives saved.
I also wonder if CX will let it slide for her friend. Work is work when safety is involved. There could have been an in-flight incident with how much that guy was drinking.

I’ve only just finished the first few episodes but so far it seems like it’s one sided on Pinny’s part since they grew up together, she feels he belongs to her. He’s the typical ML that doesn’t set the record straight to spare the girl’s feelings and not ruin the family connections. She’s also younger so he calls her “nong” which is normal way to address someone younger that you grew up with. It seems like everything is one-side and Pinny’s family will do anything to get ML tied to them by marriage to steal the inheritance. I bet if there was any type of childhood marriage arrangement it was between ML and the missing granddaughter/daughter (who is most likely the FL) but Pinny took her place since the little girl went missing. ML was close to the missing girl and feels an affinity to FL because of this connection.

Agreed, they need to wrap up his storyline soon.

It looks like he’s still living in the apartment he was preparing just not using the room that was supposed to be theirs, He hasn’t let anything go that has to do with her.

Yeah…I figured most of CX’s issues came from her relationship with her mom.

Lol…it seems like in the next couple of episodes, CX is going to talk to her landlord about GNT and ask his advice. She’s going to start to have feelings? I wonder how long before either one realizes that they’re landlord/tenant.

If I blocked my boss on my cell phone, I’d be dead meat for missing important calls/texts. CX is so lucky, GNT let it go.

He was suspended until investigation was complete because of the video going viral and damaging company’s image. As someone in his position, he should have known better is probably why. Of course Jiang is going to take this opportunity to suppress GNT since GNT is a better pilot/instructor and will most likely surpass him one day.

It’s not a reason for her to do that about the house, but a reason for opposition to the career choice. Growing up with semi-traditional parents, I understand the dad not saying anything if the mom had some previous trauma. They don’t talk about their troubles or weaknesses to their children. My parents are the same way.

Regarding the mom putting the house up for sale, it’s not right but it’s something the mom is used to doing which is setting up everything in her daughter’s life like she did with the competitions and extracurricular activities. She didn’t want anything permanent tying her daughter to that place and job. It’s no excuse but it happens in these dramas and sometimes in real life?

I’m hoping for some growth in this mother-daughter relationship.

Even though it’s illegal, it happens often in Asian dramas that the parent would make decisions like that and act on them. The realtor shouldn’t have allowed it to happen either but in those culturally bound societies, parents have a lot of say over their adult children.
