The only thing was when they shortened the timeline of the prison sentence, they also shortened the amount of time it took L&P to grow, in the novel it was 6 years vs the 3 years in the drama. Gao is definitely not Steve Jobs so he used connections and probably not so nice business tactics.

From what I’ve read about Steve Jobs and other famous techies, they were more or less like the group in Feiyoung Company at their age. Maybe they’re comparing LX to Jobs because Jobs was difficult to work with, similar to LX.

I feel that it’s realistic to have these emotions, growing pains, discoveries at that age since they were just school kids not long ago…but that’s just my opinion.

For the drama, they combined 2 characters into 1. The childhood friend had a different name and he got married while TXZ was someone she met on a trip to Italy when studying abroad. TXZ had romantic interest in her even if she kept telling him that she had a boyfriend (LX), he didn’t move onto anyone else. In the drama, they made TXZ both the childhood friend and one-sided love interest so anything is possible.

I see…yeah I heard the novel was not so great when it came to LX and women…such as him being a player and stuff. I didn’t really finish the novel. I’m glad it’s not like that in the drama. I watched on recently with Victoria that had so much sexism that sometimes I just wanted to get through the screen and smack some of the characters, especially the SML.

LOL…watching the Falling You MV and thinking back to their first meetings, FSM was actually their matchmaker. She moved ZY’s tray without saying anything to her and ZY ended eating LX’s food. FSM made ZY responsible for getting LX to attend morning self-study and the rest is history.

He uses the lighter when he’s agitated/frustrated. You can see how his hands automatically started doing the motions after the argument with Gao in ep13. It was a coping mechanism.

All but the guy that just graduated are older than them. They’re just not experienced. The CEO was also in prison for revenge ironically for the same reason as LX.

That’s why I love this drama’s depiction of their relationship development. It’s very natural and realistic which is why none of their cutie scenes are cringy. They slowly just became each other’s person without really having to define or label it. We’ve seen them experience the early stages of young love, grief, and soon, they’ll feel/confront each other’s experiences of their separation.

I think it’s an arranged marriage but the other way around where XLN’s family needed money and Gao was now wealthy with L&P because according to FZJ Gao pays for everything the XLN has now.

Post Thanksgiving Dinner plans, binge watch TRS (K-drama) Blu-Ray and L&P. Will be a long wait for ep28/29. One more episode this week and looking forward to next week because that’s where the ❤️❤️ 💋 symbols are on the schedule.

I think so too. I think her dad was probably going to loose everything because based on FZJ’s words, Gao has been providing everything for her. So I wonder if Gao saved her father’s business. We’ll see if they explain it later. ZLN seems to be annoyed at the fact that everything she has now was from Gao.

Definitely. I agree with you about the script. I loved watching them work together in ep25 where he’s secretly smiling and proud of her being boss lady. Can’t wait to see their interactions when they are back together. And them as a power couple in the fight against Gao and FZJ.

I think it’s consistent with his character in the drama. He’s always got something brewing in the background. I’m pretty sure Gao and Fang is still right there in his mind but he’s also realistic too and knows he has to start somewhere which is with that new company. I believe it’s the same in the novel. It was around chapter 15 that he started at the new company to prepare. It’s coming and from the trailer, the foundation is going to be their game.
