I believe that’s supposed to be “I didn’t say I’ll go to graduate school.” It’s because they were discussing him missing the Graduate School qualifications exam. ZY had just gone home from taking the written portion and was going back later for the oral portion. LX skipped the exam because he wasn’t planning on going to Grad School, just finishing undergrad.
They made room for him to be photoshopped in the graduation picture. I loved that part because of GAO’s sour face when they made him move since it meant LX was going to be immortalized next to him in their grad pictures. Remember they were all celebrating before the incident. He had already finished all his graduation requirements before he went to prison. They all did. He was giving up Grad School to start the business. Just don’t know if a school can revoke graduation for the assault.

I don’t think she went to Gao after getting rejected by Li Xun. If you recall what FZJ said to ZLN after he filmed her coming out of the apartment, he said that Gao gave her the car and provides everything for her. If there was a revenge thing, I could see Gao bankrupting ZLN’s dad to get her as revenge for her rejecting him before and not the other way around.
I don’t know why but the preview of him apologizing to her just feels weird and unnatural. It doesn’t seem…
I’m waiting to see the whole episode because it’s out of context. I can see why she said don’t lower your head because that was weird of him. I don’t know why but I think he’s setting something up again to make her leave. After the whole XLN apartment video thing, I can see Gao making threats.

He’s also the contrast to LX’s character and shows the difference between ZY with LX and ZY with someone perfect that her parents approve of. ZY is free to be herself with LX, she has the courage to face things as her friends said. While with TJZ, she’s still at her parent’s whim, even if he acts as the medium for her. I kind of saw that in today’s episodes.
They also combined 2 characters into one with TJZ, childhood friend and friend she met in Italy during her time abroad. This brotherly role is also more like a guest appearance for Ma Ke. Maybe he wanted to take a relaxing role.

When LX said that, he was basically describing ZY, she’s got an innocent and trusting heart with some spunk (innocent, fragile, and some spirit). Also, regarding in the novel about raising a boy vs girl, it’s actually a very common thought not just among men but women as well. My friends were the same way because there is the fear of the unknown when your child goes out into the world and if you’ve taught your daughter enough to protect themselves because they’re more easily targeted. At least that’s what they’ve told me.

Yeah that’s what I was initially thinking too which is why I still think Gao pulled some illegal stuff. It depended on the extent of the executorship/proxy but basically having that document is as good as having LX’s signature. This is also how some guardians who act as executors steal inheritances from the minors they’r overseeing and why you have to really trust the person you make as executors. Depending on how things are written, they can basically do a lot.

That’s what I thought at first too but that’s not the case when he gave Gao a legal document saying Gao can act on his behalf so Gao basically used that legal document to replace LX. LX’s 50% would grow with the company if that 50% was still in his name but unfortunately Gao removed his name.

When LX gave Gao 50%, he also made Gao executor so he could act on his behalf in the company. LX owned 50% when it was only under their two names but that 50% is reduced when more people invest in the company and become part owners. Somehow through sales and reinvestments, Gao pushed LX out and removed his name on the books.

No, when Gao visited LX in prison, he showed LX new registration papers where he had removed LX’s name. I was discussing this with someone else earlier about shareholders and pushing someone out. They think that’s why LX wasn’t listed in the shareholder’s structure. We’ll probably see more details on how Gao did it but he basically used LX’s trust in him as the executor of his part of the business to push him out. When he sold the medical portion, he probably reinvested the money under his name only, increasing his portion and added more outside investors such as FZJ so it basically reduced LX’s shares to nothing.
Someone on twitter said that they think FSM will probably be their lawyer later to get L&P back in a legal battle. Maybe we’ll see more then of what Gao did.
