Not sure if the Chinese version is out yet, but to my understanding, there will be a different cast with different stories. So I hope that one gets subbed too!
I have yet to watch I am your king coz the reviews are so bad.
I kind of liked it. Not because of New Year, but because I found it kind of cute. It definitely wasn't the best drama out there, & the acting could be so much better. But I feel it was terribly rushed. If they took their time with it & let things play out better, it would have been MUCH better.
Is the only translation to the novel the one on Wattpad? Like I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm really thankful for it, but to be honest I tend to love side ships more than main ships & I've seen some people drop little spoiler quotes of Xuan Da Yu & Wang Zhi Shui & I'm so curious of that couple that I've been looking everywhere for more on their story. If anyone can help me out, please do!! (If anyone has anything on Peng Ze & Li Zhen Zhen, I'd appreciate that as well!)
So happy for Korn and Knock w3But wtf Bright and Farm ??? So basically Farm became like Bright" ?? Just like that…
To be honest, I would actually find it interesting if there was a season three, that they'd focus on Farm & Bright & either A.) have Bright realize his wrongs & his special feelings for Farm. Or B.) actually have Farm continue to be a player for a bit in hopes of getting back at Bright only to fall for someone else he started dating. In all honesty, I was kind of disappointed in their ending, but mostly because it was a bit random to me & it was left so open. But I'm hoping that could mean another season. ;)
I really hope she ends up with Id to be honest. My favorite kind of relationships are love-hate ones. I don't know, I think it's kind of clear Id has a thing for Padlom & he just tries to hide it by teasing her. But I also feel like it's so obvious that they won't end up together in the end. :/
Okay, so I see a lot of people saying they don't get who's who or what is happening, & to be honest,…
Yeah, as said by YouDirtyWater, the one dressed as a girl is August. He's the one dating New but is paired up with Bright for the game.
(HE'S ALSO PRETTY AF AS A GIRL HOLY COW!!)

Yeah, haha, I mean I wouldn't say it's the absolute greatest acting, but I thought it was at least decent. A lot of Thai BL shows seem to have slightly (sometimes incredibly) awkward acting. I'm not saying this to smack talk, I love most of the shows anyways. It's usually because it's newer actors so their acting comes off a little awkward.
But I'm totally with you, this does seem to be the kind of show you'd watch just to watch if you have nothing else, but I think it's at least kind of cute. Has an interesting (yet kind of messy & confusing) plot. & it's fairly short so it doesn't seem like it'll drag.

I actually like it so far. Haha, I find that the chemistry & acting is better than quite a few Thai series I've seen *cough cough* MIR *cough cough*
I think they seem much more comfortable with the "provocative" (if you'd call it that) scenes in the first episode than most Thai actors seem to be. & the fact that NewYear is actually gay in real life makes me like that fact more because it shows that sexuality shouldn't bother someone in acting (which seems to be the problem for casting directors for these shows).
I dunno, I personally find it to be a rather cute show so far. Lol
Okay, so I see a lot of people saying they don't get who's who or what is happening, & to be honest, I was confused about basically everything too 'til the third episode. So the pairings are like this- PoundxNew, AugustxBright, & JunhoxMatt. New & August are actually (secretly I believe) dating. Bright likes a girl named Som, & Matt is dating a girl named Alin.
If this goes how I think it'll go, they'll each fall for the one they're paired with in the end. (That's just my assumption though.)
For those getting the everyone confused with each other, I found episode 3 to be the best one in terms of distinguishing who's who because they focus more on the groups one on one & you're (or at least I was) able to see each person. Episode one was really hard because they were all thrown together in a room & the names were barely said.
Hope this helps!
That was quite a fun ride! Ofc it's a bit rushed due to being a web series and the acting was just so-so but if…
I will 100% admit that the choreography was terrible, but the lyrics to which song? The first one that they performed as a band? Or the one she wrote?
'Cause the first song is an actual song E'Dawn of Pentagon (all the members of the boy group besides the main male lead are Pentagon members) wrote & it's actually one of my favorite songs from them. xD
